The Tehidy apartment was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

It was very comfy, very well equipped - although with a good selection of places to eat in Charlestown - you don’t need to cook much. The views from the balcony were stunning. Whilst there is a limited bus service, a car would enhance your stay. The walk into Charlestown is downhill with a steep walk back. It was lovely to see the Santa Maria tallship sail into the harbour on Friday.

Warm, comfortable and had everything we could wish for. Great location too.

We have stayed here many times, superbly furnished apartment that is always well maintained and spotlessly clean.

The kitchen has everything you would ever need and the en-suite bathroom to the front bedroom is amazing. The location is a short stroll down to the harbour and eateries. There is a large allocated carpark to the rear.

I was bowled over by the comfort, luxury and cleanliness of Tehidy.

I have, over the years, stayed in many cottages/flats and this was top of the list in all respects. Thank you.

Stayed here many times, great location and a superb apartment that has allocated parking for one car (the carparking area is very dark, it’s at the rear of the building) The apartment is always spotlessly clean and everything provided that you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.

Very comfortable bed and great en-suite shower. There is always tea bags, coffee, milk and cookies on arrival which is very welcoming after a long journey. It’s nice to sit on the balcony to drink your morning coffee or evening tipple. It’s a short walk down to the harbour and its pubs and attractions. We will definitely keep coming back to Tehidy.

Lovely property but very disappointed with cleaning & had to have cleaner back as there was stains & dust everywhere even nail clippings on the floor attention to detail needs to be addressed.

The property had everything you could wish for & really enjoyed our stay. Charlestown is a beautiful place to stay & easy walking distance to the harbour & amenities

We were delighted with the apartment.

Very clean, well appointed, quiet and very comfortable. It was a great base to explore mid Cornwall and we would definitely recommend Tehidy.

You stated in the description that the property overlooked the harbour.

This is definitely not true. We were very disappointed to find that not only could we not see the harbour but we were on an estate which took us at least 15 minutes to walk down to the harbour.

Immaculately clean, every kitchen utensil you could need, decor great, comfortable beds.

Ideally suited geographically to visit other parts of Cornwall. The only drawback is that it's on the second floor w8th no lift. After 2 weeks here my thighs and knees are much stronger

We found the stay at Tehidy appartment perfect .

The location was great for trips out to the places we wished to visit. Charlestown itself was a lovely place, good for coastal walks and ideal for eating out.The accommodation was very roomy,extremely well equipped and beautifully maintained. Would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to book again when returning again.

On the website the property did not state it was next to a railway line.

There were trains at all times of the day and night and it was made worse because we could not sleep in the front bedroom of the house which also had the en suite because it smelt terrible of sweat and BO. I tried to get rid of it by buying Fabreeze and regularly spraying that but it didn't make a difference so we could hear the trains having to sleep in the back bedroom so that was a big problem not getting good night sleeps also the fridge had not been cleaned out properly and you could not open the freezer drawers because they were solid with so much ice.

Tehidy is perfectly situated for touring around mid-Cornwall.

The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and Lanhydrock were all very close. The holiday property is very clean and maintained to a high standard and it has a very light and airy feel. It was also very warm on slightly colder Spring days. The double glazing is excellent; we hardly noticed the trains running behind the property. It's very convenient having Tesco just a 5 min drive away. Parking is easy as Tehidy has a designated parking space for one car behind the property. We had a great week in Cornwall and would recommend this holiday property.

Property in a brilliant location and ideal for seeing the sights of Cornwall.

Lovely sea view. The accommodation has everything you need. Think the accommodation could do with a few things changing (very manly) bed linen and towels, well used. Carpets need a clean in the bedrooms. Unable to use back bedroom wardrobe full of items (tv, fan etc).Car parking bays need to be repainted and numbered so you can see your bay. Ideal place to stay though for location.

The property exceeded expectations however it would be helpful if you could advise clients that they need to park in a specific bay (Number 6).

The bay marking is not obvious or clear especially when wet or in the dark.

Comfortable apartment, conveniently located, noise from railway not as issue.

Disappointed there were no recycling facilities, and that no one contacted us about clean towels and bedding halfway through our 2 week stay, there in no reduction for the second week, yet there was no cleaning or fresh linen done on the middle Saturday. Also feel that a 5 o’clock arrival is late, especially when we are advised that we need to arrive before 6 to get access to the key. An hours window when travelling from the other side of the country is not great.

We had a brilliant holiday in this lovely apartment.

Even with the train line behind, it was quiet. The flat was spotlessly clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. In a great location, near to Charlestown harbour and a Tesco's a short walk away. Would recommend.

Tehidy was beautiful.

We had an amazing week here. Well equipped, clean and comfy. Easy walking to Charlestown and Carlyon Bay. Lots of places to explore further afield.

Comfortable property in a quiet residential area ideally located for the short walk down into charming Charlestown and it's restaurants and bars.

The walk back is uphill but as previous guests have said it's not a problem. Lovely coastal walks in both directions from the harbour along the South West Coast path. Sea glimpse from the master bedroom which was unexpected. Well equipped property, private parking space and lovely to have the balcony for those light evenings.

The property and location were perfect.

Charlestown is within walking distance. Coming back up the hill took a bit longer but easy enough. The town has enough places to eat if you dont want to go far. It is ideal location for exploring the coastline. The apartment is great. It has everything you need. I wouldn't hesitate in booking again.

The property was exactly as described and the view was fabulous.

It was warm and cosy. (our week in April not being the warmest with frost, hail and rain!!) the heating was extremely efficient and soon warmed the apartment up. The owners response was excellent when the internal door lock broke and the problem was dealt with immediately. Thank you! Would we return - definitely!

Didn’t know what to expect from the apartment but it was fabulous.

Everything was amazing. The balcony was a great place to sit in the evenings with a glass of wine. The apartment had everything we hoped for and more. We We will definitely be back

A great location, 1 mile easy walk to a fab beach, 10 mins walk into the town for dinner, 5 mins to tesco and food shops.

Superb modern apartment in a quiet residential area.

Beautifully furnished. Own parking space. Ten minutes walk to the centre of Charlestown. A couple of lovely pubs and 2 nice restaurants in the village, we had no reason to move the car at night. Very pleasant holiday.

The apartment was very clean & well equipped.

Very spacious especially as there was only 2 of us. On the downside the extractor fan in the en suite goes on for what felt like forever once the light is off & you’re trying to sleep. The mattress in that bedroom is very soft, not great for a person suffering back ache. Disappointed that you can’t get access until 5pm, (especially when previous occupancy had to vacate by 9am) after a very long journey it would have been lovely to get settled & the kettle on maybe around 2-3pm. I did message the caretaker who said she’d let me know if we could get in sooner but it wasn’t ready until 4.50pm. We had a lovely holiday & enjoyed our stay at Tehidy.

We had a great week staying here, it was home from home with all the facilities you could need.

We pre-booked restaurants before we went, I’m glad we did as you couldn’t just walk in for a table, all were fully booked. The Longstore was excellent, as was Eddie’s Kitchen. Everything in Charlestown was within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Facilities were fantastic, apartment really clean.

Had a 2 week stay and requested a bedding change, no problem to the caretaker, who answered our questions promptly. Would highly recommend this property, especially liked by our teenage son, lovely to have the use of the xbox. Lovely quiet location, even with the main train line behind the property.

The apartment was spotless, well equipped modern and spacious. Everything was as it was described and the photos accurately showed the apartment. It was just a short walk into Charlestown and all other local shops and amenities were nearby. Overall an excellent place to stay!

A really nice tidy modern property with good facilities.

Only points to mention would be the bathrooms could do with a shelf for toiletries & it would have been nice to have some recycling facilities. The bedding in the bedroom with the ensuite was a little ill fitting & could do with some improvement. These points are minor observations and we had a lovely stay at the property which we found to be in an excellent location.

Pros - Good sized, well equipped apartment.

Good base to explore this area of Cornwall. Cons - Busy railway line runs to the rear of the property. Glimpses of the sea from front bedroom window, so not a sea view?

This apartment is first class with regards to quality, cleanliness and location.

its also within easy walking distance of the sea front with many outlets for food and drink. Accessibility to many popular areas of Cornwall are within an easy driving distance, but the local bus service is within reach of the apartment if you prefer a different view of Cornwall. When it comes to supplies you need for your duration of the holiday two well known supermarkets are within a five minutes drive away for all your needs. If you are seeking a holiday where privacy and quietness is needed then this apartment should tick all the right boxes too. The apartment is immaculately looked after by the owners and all the things you expect to find inside for your duration are at your disposal. This holiday apartment has served us well on two occasions and it has exceeded all our expectations.

Wonderful quality apartment.

Very spacious, high quality and very well equipped (even hand blender and Tassimo machine!). Only downside is that it is on the 3rd floor and there is no lift so this needs to be mentioned in the property details.

Everything about this accomadation was perfect - only small issue flat number 4 constantly left a muddy trail from the entrance door and mud and dirt left for days - difficult to avoid.

Fantastic apartment it had everything that we wanted, and a perfect location for us , we hope to return again same time next year.

We had a wonderful holiday this was a a central location to visit many places with ease, the apartment was beautiful with-lovely views, and very well equipped and extremely comfortable.

This property was the best selfcatering accomodation I have had.

A very well equipped apartment.

All china, towels etc were of a high quality. A beautiful apartment in a lovely location. We felt very much at home from the start.

The property was very comfortable but would benefit from having a bread bin, knife, baking tray and coffee table.

We loved everything but the beds.

They were just too soft, I would have liked a booklet with a bit more information about how things worked, like the Xbox for Netflix etc as we aren't gamers and it took us a long time to figure out how it worked.

The flat was excellent, it was clean, had a sea view, had all the comforts you require and was well located to be able to walk in to Charlestown.

You need to be able bodied as the flat is at the top of 3 flights of stairs. Anyone who cannot get upstairs would struggle with their luggage. Thankfully we didn't have a problem. It is a great flat in a great place

A really modern looking apartment, close to Charlestown and ideal for exploring that part of Cornwall, it has everything you need and we had a fantastic week.

Great hoilday have used Sykes many time and will carry on as never had a bad cottage yet
