Honeysuckle Cottage

We chose the cottage for its location and it didn’t disappoint.

It was clean, welcoming and had everything we needed for a week away. Thanks for an enjoyable stay :)

Honeysuckle Cottage is perfectly located, only a short stroll from the beach or village.

It is well equipped and generally comfortable. The double bed is very soft (not great if you have a bad back!). The doorways upstairs are very low. Good shower though!

Lovely,comfortable cottage ,well situated near the cove.

We appreciated the designated parking space in front of the house.We loved the patio garden.The cottage was extremely clean on arrival and we appreciated the biscuits,thank you. We would have liked a bedside lamp in the main bedroom so we could read at night but that is our preference and certainly did not spoil a most enjoyable holiday.We would certainly return to Honeysuckle Cottage.

Could perhaps do with a little upgrading in the kitchen but would definitely return

A beautiful cottage , situated close to the beach and sea.

This gave us an easy choice when walking our dog, who loves the beach. The cottage was excellent for the three of us and a dog, with a lovely outside area to sit and watch the world pass by. Highly recommended.

This is our second stay at Honeysuckle cottage & as much as we love the cottage & especially the location there are things that could improve the stay.

I know we were only there for the week but the sofa is very uncomfortable & we had ants on the kitchen worktop most mornings, only a couple but it’s not what you want to see. This isn’t a criticism, it’s just an observation to help improve the accommodation, we love the place & always have a lovely time in St Agnes

Great place to stay.

It's central to so many places to visit and is within walking distance of the beach and loads of pubs and restaurants. The cottage had everything we needed and we'll definitely be back!

Fabulous cottage.

Exceptionally clean and so comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. Location is perfect, being only a few minutes stroll to the beach, pub and cafes. We love this cottage so much, we’ve stayed two years in a row and plan to return next year!

It was lovely again. Clean, cosy, comfortable, superbly located. Would highly recommend.

Slight hiccup with the mistiming of the start/end times of the heating/hot water but resolved with the owner who was extremely helpful.

Great cottage. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Cottage in lovely location

We had a lovely stay, the cottage was perfect & the location was exactly what we wanted.

We absolutely love St Agnes & this was by far the best holiday. We would love to return to Honeysuckle Cottage but we will have 2 dogs by the next holiday. Is there any way we could return with 2, they are extremely well behaved? I just had to ask!!! Many thanks for a wonderful holiday

This is a lovely cosy cottage in a great location.

Very well equipped and great for us; two people plus our mid sized dog. Might have been more of a squeeze with two adults and two children. Lovely bathroom, great shower; lots of hot water. Slightly hard to get in and out of bath, so maybe a grab rail at the end near the door ? Off road parking is a real bonus. Hill up to the village and down to Trevaunce is steep, but all OK for us. The Driftwood Spa's pub is a great place for a beer and the village has lots of lovely places to eat. All in all, a great place to stay.

Lovely little cottage in a perfect location.

However certain areas seemed very dusty and grubby. The kitchen felt a little tired and the sofa very uncomfortable and had no support, therefore unable to relax in the evenings. Could have done with a grab rail over the bath and a bedside cabinet would have been useful.

Not completely happy with the property, there were lots of cobwebs all around the inside of the property, also the main seating area is not great the sofa is very low and suffering from sagging some parts once you were sat down, it wasn't easy to get up.

The main bed was awful, very soft, possibly old mattress and on stripping the bedding off at the end of the stay the mattress has quiet a few stains(mould and possibly blood) in fact if we had seen them at the start we wouldn't of slept in the bed, did not check the other beds. The property is good in general, the kitchen area is well presented with good appliances and it's nice to have a parking space and a front garden to let the dog out last thing and it's a great part of st Agnes but it's a shame that cleaning and old furniture/mattress let's it down badly we would not stay there again until the issues have been dealt with. Well equipped cottage, warm and cosy, excellent location close to beach.

We enjoyed our week here and hope to return.

On the whole very good, unfortunately the sofa arrangement was quite uncomfortable.

Lovely cottage, very cosy, great location and we would happily stay again.

Only very minor point of frustration was the lack of larger pans. It was very difficult to cook for a family of four as the pans were all so small (although very good quality) so we had to use multiple pans each time we cooked.

We both agreed that it was a lovely, cosy cottage and we were very happy there.

We had everything we needed and, with a super pub a short walk away, couldn't complain! Having not really been to Cornwall before, it was an ideal base from which to explore this delightful county.

Fabulous Cottage!

We absolutely loved our stay at Honeysuckle Cottage. It was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and exceptionally well quipped. On arrival, there was a welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits and milk which was a lovely touch. The location of this beautiful cottage is perfect. A few minutes walk from stunning Trevaunance Cove and several fabulous pubs, cafes and restaurants. We could not fault it on any level! We enjoyed our stay at Honeysuckle Cottage so much that the first thing we did upon our return home, was to book again for next year. Thank you so much, we can't wait to return in 2025!

This is a lovely cottage, perfectly placed for the beach, village and pub and I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Unfortunately, just one thing would stop me from returning - the lack of a tumble dryer. This meant having to use the same towels for the entire week as there was no way of getting them dry, had I put them through the washing machine, not even a washing line, just a very small airer. One of the children had a migraine and I dreaded her being sick during the night as there'd be no way of washing and drying her sheets in time for the following night.

A beautiful little cottage, well maintained and very comfy.

It's so handy for the beach, just a few minutes walk, and the pub is even nearer! Walking the other way you're just a 5 minutes walk from the centre of St Agnes and the shops (and more pubs!). What more could you ask for?

Location was wonderful. It was just a couple of minutes stroll to the sea, and St Agnes is gorgeous! Honeysuckle Cottage was well equipped and comfortable. We could have done with bedside tables and bedside lights, but all in all very good.

Lovely cottage in a fabulous location, extra bonus of a beautiful garden to sit out in the sunshine as we were blessed with good weather.

Struggled with our backs due to pillows being too soft.

Other than that we loved it and would like to come back.

It was very clean & comfortable. It was also very well equipped. The cottage was only 5 minutes from the beach & pub "The Driftwood", which was very welcoming & served lovely meals. We would definitely stay at Honeysuckle Cottage again.

We were staying for a week in a very windy November.

The cottage was snug and warm despite the cold and wind outside.

We had a fantastic holiday and Honeysuckle Cottage was the perfect place to have as our base.

It was clean and the facilities inside was all to a high standard. We would like to thank the owners for the extra little things they had supplied to make our stay even more comfortable.It’s location to the Driftwood Spars pub and the Beech was idyllic too and everyone we met were so friendly. Absolutely charming cottage, in a beautiful village, set down quay road very near the pub & very near the beach/ cove, approx 5 mins walk, & about 10 mins walk up hill into the main village, also lovely for walking/surfing, it had everything we needed & would definitely return

The location was perfect.

Honeysuckle Cottage had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We were lucky to have amazing weather so we made use of the garden area at the front for meals and relaxing. This was more private and slightly larger than I’d expected which was a bonus.

Had a great week in Honeysuckle Cottage.

Appreciated the spotless bathroom, generous amount of hot water and lovely bed linen and towels. Downstairs lounge could have done with a bit more cleaning, especially under the sofa etc as we had to retrieve something from underneath and it was really dirty. We didn’t use the storage upstairs as the wardrobes in the main bedroom smelled of damp. The milk and tea and biscuits on arrival were really appreciated. We would have liked a cafetière so we could make a pot of coffee. Also we could have done with a couple of large serving spoons and a bigger frying pan as we were 5. A more robust clothes drying rack would have been good too. Overall we liked the cottage and loved the location and would be happy to stay there again.
