“We have been with Sykes many times.”
Oyster Bay was comfortable and a good base to see port Isaac and surrounding areas. We thought it was a detached property and were staying in the main bedroom( there were just 2 of us). However we think the owners next door stayed with their children in the room next to ours connecting. We were woken up at 5.30 for a couple of mornings and consequently had to move rooms.Fortunately we had many to choose from.Be aware to of the housekeeping money of 400 (you must request it back) we didn't realise ...

Yes, as it is a semi-detached property we did put soundproofing in when doing up the house, but we too are hoping that the new owners next door may do some as well!!! I'm glad you had a good holiday nevertheless. It's not really that one has to request the return of the housekeeping bond (which we had to introduce after the house was once left in the most terrible state), so much that I can't return the bond until I am in receipt of the guest's bank details, as requested in my welcome email (the one sent in advance of the holiday which includes all the instructions on how to get in to the house etc).
