“Three days with no water,(was told to wait for the rain) told to buy bottled water.”

The property was not cleaned, cobwebs everywhere, the floors had not been hoovered or washed. The en-suite was disgusting with black mould around the shower. The main bath leaked water everywhere which was dangerous. The heating system was faulty with electrics getting very hot. Locks and door handles not working properly. Had people in every day apart from one to try unsuccessfully fix things. Was not the beautiful peaceful holiday I expected by looking at the photos. Unsafe unsanitary and not ...

Unsafe unsanitary and not fit for purpose. I will be contacting Cornwall council regarding the health and safety issues in respect of holiday let license.

Thank you for your feedback, having spoken with the owner he would like to report that the housekeeper attended immediately after you notified them that the kitchen tap was not working. A plumber attended and confirmed there had been an air lock problem which was soon rectified. The supply of water to both the bathroom and en-suite was in good order. The housekeeper attended to the cleanliness issues you reported the next day. A full clean of the house was carried out, no black mould was found in the bathroom. A plumber attended and found there to be no leaks, nor has any previous guest mentioned this. The owner refutes the claims for the heating system being faulty as well as locks and handles not operating correctly. He states the property has been fully inspected and signed off by external professionals (plumber and electrician). The heating system was only upgraded a year ago. The housekeeper also provided bottled water whilst the kitchen tap was rectified and you were reimbursed for the bottles you had purchased. We want all our guests to have the best holiday experience and whilst we did everything we could during your stay we are sorry to hear that was not the case for you. The issues you raise are in stark contrast to previous positive reviews. Property Owner
