Greenways is a detached traditional cottage resting in the small hamlet of Bolingey, near the coastal town of Perranporth, Cornwall, offering a characterful retreat for families or friends looking to enjoy the north coast and classic Cornish surroundings.
Well‑proportioned and thoughtfully arranged, the cottage blends period charm with practical living space suited to shared stays.
On the ground floor, the sitting room provides an inviting place to relax after time spent outdoors, with a double sofa bed offering flexible sleeping arrangements for up to eight guests.
A separate dining room offers space to gather for meals, complete with a woodburning stove that creates a warm and welcoming setting for slower‑paced evenings. The dining table comfortably seats up to eight guests.
The kitchen is well‑equipped for everyday self‑catering, making it easy to prepare meals before or after days spent exploring the coast.
Upstairs, three bedrooms provide flexible sleeping arrangements, comprising two doubles and a twin, each offering a peaceful place to unwind at the end of the day.
These are served by a bathroom fitted with a bath, walk‑in shower, basin and WC, giving guests the choice between a refreshing shower or a relaxing soak.
Outside, Greenways enjoys a beautiful setting with wonderful views of the surrounding Cornish countryside. A well‑established and substantial private garden includes lawns, patios, a terrace and outdoor furniture, offering plenty of space to enjoy the fresh air throughout the day.
Off‑road parking for two cars is available, along with the added benefit of an EV charger (usage payable).
The Bolingey Inn is just a short walk away, with shops within easy reach, while the surrounding area offers plenty to explore.
Head to Newquay for its beaches and surf culture, visit Truro to discover Cornwall’s cathedral city, or enjoy coastal walks along Perranporth’s award‑winning beach, home to the UK’s only beach bar, The Watering Hole.
With its traditional charm and well‑placed setting, Greenways offers a welcoming base for a Cornish escape.

Greenways is a charming cottage in a great location.
It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The EV charger was a bonus. Our dogs loved the garden, which had beautiful views over the village. It was just a fifteen minute walk along the Saints Trail to Perranporth Beach. Jo and Karl are great hosts, answering any questions we had swiftly. We would highly recommend a stay here.
We had a lovely stay, the property feels very homely, the garden is beautiful but challenging if you have any mobility issues.
Offroad parking and ev charging is a real bonus. Every night you can listen to the Owls calling. Great location for Perranporth which is walkable. Definately on our go again list.
Lovely cottage, very well equipped/clean, only a short walk to the beach, golf course also close by.
EV charger is a massive plus, communication with the owners was prompt and very helpful. Overall we couldn’t fault anything with our stay at the property, a superb cottage in the heart of Cornwall.
