    “Lovely well equipped house.”

Spotlessly clean. Very grateful for the scones, bread and milk left for us. Stayed with a group of friends, all thought one of the nicest houses we’ve holidayed in. We all loved Bonny the three legged farm dog . Would happily stay again.

The property

This beautiful Georgian farmhouse is located on the owner's working livestock and arable National Trust farm, just one mile from the village of Boscastle in Cornwall.

Home Farm is a traditional dwelling that boasts stunning sea views along the Heritage Coast, perfect for big groups of family and friends desiring a Cornish getaway.

You'll automatically feel relaxed when entering the traditional property, enhanced by vintage décor and warm features.

Sink into one of the sofas in the living room as you warm up by the woodburning stove, or decide to watch a film on the large TV.

The classy dining room is the ideal spot to catch-up over a home-cooked meal with your loved ones, the dining seating is classically wooden with an elegant chandelier hanging over, completed by a woodburning stove for the perfect cosy ambience.

Delight in a hot cup of coffee overlooking the scenic view in the airy conservatory, resting your feet up on the plush corner sofa.

The kitchen/diner is a wonderfully distinctive corner of the house, displaying conventional Georgian features such as a Rayburn range cooker and stove, it's beautifully decorated with antique china and a timber table.

The utility room features a washing machine and tumble dryer, great for cleaning any muddy clothes from a day of exploring and adventures.

Upstairs you'll find four delightful double bedrooms, all showcasing their own TVs, window seats and en-suite shower rooms, with one room even featuring a roll top bath.

Outside, there is a lovely lawned area and patio section with outdoor seating if you fancy dining alfresco.

The farm is set in over 400 acres of land in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by footpaths which are linked to famous poet and author Thomas Hardy, with the area used as a source of inspiration for many of his works.

The Napoleon Inn bar and restaurant is just a short walk away from the property, a 16th century inn where you can enjoy real Cornish ale and live music.

Boscastle is an ideal location for foodies, with plenty of traditional Cornish eateries to choose from, there's also a great selection of pubs.

About the location

Tintagel 4 miles; Camelford 6 miles.

A perfect Cornish coastal village, the road through Boscastle runs down to the small harbour at the bottom of the hill. The quaint village shops, local restaurants and pubs offering good food, Cornish real ales and live entertainment by local musicians, make this an ever popular visitor destination. Spectacular cliff tops, rocky coves, wild surf, open fields and rich wildlife characterise this beautiful area. The coastal footpath passes through some of Britain’s most rugged and spectacular coastal scenery. The sandy beaches of Bossiney, Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven are all within 5 miles and the surfing beaches at Bude and Polzeath are within easy driving distance. Close at hand lie the delights of Tintagel, swathed in the legends of King Arthur, several stately homes and renowned gardens, or the wide open space of Bodmin Moor, famous for its granite tors and Daphne Du Maurier’s Jamaica Inn.
