This is a wonderful place to stay.

It’s so comfortable and spotlessly clean. Cathy has thought of everything that you might need to make your stay trouble free. Little touches like tissues in your room, and kitchen essentials, really make a difference. The homemade cream tea was first class!. The shower is fabulous, with a great supply of hot water. The village is an ideal location for sightseeing and it has an excellent chip shop within walking distance!.

We had a relaxing break in this lovely bungalow, despite the gloomy weather!

It was very quiet, warm & cosy and had everything you could possibly need for self catering. The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan & Lanhydrock are all close by and Truro has a good park & ride. Cathy gave us a warm welcome and we can highly recommend Tremethic as an excellent base to visit this part of Cornwall.

All the family thoroughly enjoyed their stay in the house.

The owners had left us some scones, cream, jam and a bottle of milk which was really appreciated. The home was clean and with all facilities required and there was plenty to do on an evening with the games, CD's and books provided. The owners were on hand and quick to respond if needing to be contacted.

A great central location for exploring Cornwall, I love all the little fishing harbours etc but didn’t fancy driving around every day looking for street parking on a steep hill! Cathy was such a kind and attentive host. The bungalow is cosy, beds are comfy, and it’s equipped with all you need to cook a nice meal at home too.

very central to get to lots of beaches, to town, pubs, lots of supermarkets nearby. Lovely place to stay.

It was very clean, very quiet, very comfortable and had everything you would need for your stay. It is centrally located to explore the area. Some of the places we visited were Fowey, Lanhydrock NT, Lizards Point to Kyance Cove, and Carlyon Beach. Thanks Cathy for a wonderful holiday.

A very smart and comfortable bungalow in a great location.

It was very quiet and peaceful and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. There is lots to do in the local area, and easy access to further afield.

A couple of minor issues were quickly dealt with.

The cottage was excellently fitted out, clean and welcoming throughout. We can recommend it without hesitation. A couple of minutes’ walk and you can catch buses direct to St Austell, Fowey, Newquay, and Truro. The fish and chip shop is first class,

We had an amazing stay here.

Comfortable, extremely clean and very well presented. It was the perfect place to come back to after our days at the beach or our adventures into the surrounding towns and areas. Cathy is just the best as well, calling me in advance with some advice about the area and the scones she kindly made for our arrival are quite possibly the best I've ever had. She also went out of her way to help us get some items back we accidently left behind. We would absolutely look to bring our family back here again!

Exceptionally clean, comfortable and very well equipped.

Super cream tea and lots of extra things that made it easier for us e.g washing up liquid, tea towels, tea, coffee etc, salt, pepper. Very friendly welcome and good advice given about local area,and things to do.

A beautiful bungalow in a quiet location but within easy travelling distance of beaches and major attractions.

The property was well maintained, clean and extremely comfortable with high quality furnishings and fittings. The owner was welcoming on arrival , providing a lovely cream tea and ensuring the bungalow was stocked with essential items. I would happily recommend this property to family and friends

Home from home!

The owner was extremely helpful, loved her scones (thank you Cathy). Very comfortable, clean, well equipped with everything we needed. Bed was so comfy, have since purchased topper and duvet for my bed at home! Cannot praise enough, will hopefully return.

We had a lovely time, Tremethic was a lovely holiday home for us.

I would only be repeating verbatim what other reviewers have said in previous reviews - we were asked what milk we preferred so it was available on arrival, along with a cream tea and absolutely everything you could possible need on a stay away was available at the bungalow plus our welcome was warm. What I would say is the comfort of Tremethic cannot be underestimated - we travelled and stayed because of familial circumstances and the bungalow was such a welcoming, warm, home-away-from -home that most certainly eased the situation; it just felt so lovely and comforting. We genuinely cannot wait to return on our next visit to Cornwall and our family. All that's left to say is 'thank you' to the owners and...."5 star, 10 out of 10, highly recommend"!

It was so clean and comfortable and in a good position for beaches and the “must-see” sights of Cornwall. We had a relaxing time here and thoroughly enjoyed the cream tea waiting for us on our arrival. We look forward to staying here again.

We have just returned from a very enjoyable week at Tremethic.

The bungalow is immaculately clean and the bed is very comfotable. In fact one of the best we've stayed in. It's location is ideal with lots of delightful places within a short drive e.g Fowey, Mevagissey,Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Helligan and Trelisick. We also enjoyed a beautiful walk straight from the door and the local fish and chips can be highly recommended. The owner is very helpful with great communication and her scones are scrumptious. A most enjoyable week in Cornwall.

Spent a week here, all good except the weather!

Scones (home made), jam and cream was a lovely touch - even took the recipe for the scones home with us. Met the owners who were keen to see if everything was ok for us. Found the bungalow to be exceptionally clean and everything which you would need is supplied. Property easy to find and we found it to be very quiet.

It's the best place we have ever stayed for a holiday. Cathy was wonderful at communicating and helping out prior and during our stay. It's a truly excellent bungalow and a great base for seeing various attractions in Cornwall. We would stay there again.

After a day walking the coast path, it was a joy to return to Tremethic.

A top-quality holiday house.

One of the best we have stayed in. Very well maintained and fitted out. Everything working properly.Comfortable beds etc. Also helpful owner - scones were first class. Very happy to recommend this bungalow.

The property was amzingly clean.

The cream tea was a very welcome after a long journey. It was also useful to have milk in the fridge. Our host Cathy was very welcoming and gave useful tips onthe area. There was plenty of local information in the bungalow to help us decide where to visit. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend to friends and family. Big thank you.
