Tucked away in a quiet corner on the outskirts of the Falmouth, a bustling coastal town in Cornwall, lies Chellowdene Cottage, the perfect place for families or couples looking for an entertaining holiday near the Cornish seaside.

Kick back in the open-plan living space, cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen, which also has a washing machine and dishwasher, so no washing up on your holiday.
Upstairs, are two king size beds one of which is a zip/link so can be twin beds on request, there is also a family bathroom on the first floor and a convenient WC on the ground floor.
Outside, there is ample space for children to play, with access to a communal lawn where new friendships can be made, along with a patio that benefits from the gorgeous afternoon sun, serving as an ideal spot for alfresco dining.
Along with all the properties on-site, a communal gym, splash pool, children's play area, and tennis courts are only a short walk from your accommodation.
The beaches of Swanpool and Maenporth are equidistant from your delightful new lodgings, both spots brimming with beach cafes and restaurants.
Scenic walks along footpaths from both Swanpool and Maenporth will bring you to Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth's premier beach, along with the Gylly Beach cafe which is simply a must-visit.
With so much to explore and enjoy in this region, Chellowdene Cottage is a fantastic base to return to each and every evening.
Families, friends, and couples will find this home an excellent base for a traditional Cornish holiday.

My wife and I have stayed at the Pendra Loweth complex 7 times over the last few years, Chelowdene cottage was overall as good as the best we have stayed in, we loved the large sofas, they were perfect for putting your feet up at the end of the day and watching your favourite programs on the large TV in the lounge area.
The walk in shower was also very nice and the whole place looked very clean and tidy. There were only 2 thing's that we think could be improved, I personally think that complimentary tea and coffee upon arrival is a must, this was not present but could be put right at not much cost, the other thing was the mattresses on the beds, they seemed a bit soft for us, we like a firm mattress, but that's our own personal preference, apart from that the place was perfect and we would certainly consider staying at Chelowdene cottage again in the future.
Probably one of the best houses we’ve stayed in on the site.
Really well appointed. Shower great and comfortable beds which is important but not always the case in other lets. Drawers in kitchen a bit rickety so were cautious when using. House keeping only set towels for 2 even though booking was for 3. Apart from that really good stay.
Chellowdene cottage was a lovely holiday cottage.
Beautiful and well maintained location also. We did have a bit of a problem prior to our holiday, with Sykes insistence on using WhatsApp to contact them, however the cottage more than made up for this.

Note: Bookings for any other reason than holiday/leisure are not permitted on this site. This property cannot be used as private accommodation for work or business trips.
Any bookings for commercial/worker use will be cancelled and the owners reserve to right to refuse a refund.
Note: On site laundry facilities
Note: Seasonal opening times apply to the bar, restaurant, pool and Jacuzzi. The season usually runs from the beginning of April to end of October annually. The gym, tennis courts and children’s play area are available year-round.
Note: The shared splash/plunge pool is approximately 3 metres on either side with a 1.4 metre depth. It has a maximum capacity of 4 people at any one time.
Note: EV car charging points are available outside of the office next to the disabled car parking bay
Note: The bath has now been replaced with a walk in shower.
Please note: In the unlikely event of a maintenance issue, you can contact us and we can get in touch with the owner who will assist in rectifying any concerns. If the owner attends and the issue happens to be a user error a £50 call out fee will be required at check-out.
Please note that due to essential maintenance, the plunge pool and jacuzzi will be unavailable from 11th to 22nd May. These dates are approximate, and the work may take longer than planned.
