    “As a family of 5 we had a wonderful stay at Heron's Reach.”

    Pendra Lowen is a beautiful, quiet holiday park. The grounds are beautifully kept, as are the facilities. The facilities on site are great and we enjoyed using the pool and tennis courts. The property is spacious, comfortable and extremely well equipped. It is very well located for access to lots of lovely beaches, Falmouth, St Mawes and many other attractions.     Pendra Lowen is a beautiful, quiet holiday park. The grounds are beautifully kept, as are the facilities. The facilities on site are great and we enjoyed using the pool and tennis courts. The property is spacious, comfortable and extremely well equipped. It is very well located for access to lots of lovely beaches, Falmouth, St Mawes and many other attractions. The owners had thought of absolutely everything to make our stay enjoyable. We arrived to find a wonderful welcome box that was very much welcome after our much longer than expected journey. They had also left ample supplies of essentials (hand wash, dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls etc) to ensure these covered our stay, as well as lots of other little extras such as many coffee options, tea etc. The outside area is also great and well equipped with a large table and chairs and overlooks a beautiful little stream. Our only grumble was with the bedframe in the master bedroom. The mattress was comfortable enough but the bedframe was very creaky! However, this a property that is obviously very well cared for so we feel sure, now we have brought it to their attention, that the Owners will rectify this at the earliest opportunity. We had a wonderful stay in Heron's Reach and would love to return.

Herons Reach with its three spacious bedrooms and welcoming living area is positioned in a peaceful setting beside a babbling brook and can accommodate up to six people.

Step into your new home-from-home and relax on the sumptuous sofas while the designated chef whips up a tasty dinner in the amply equipped kitchen.

Gather around the dining table for a meal or head outside to the fully enclosed deck, adjacent to the babbling brook, an unforgettable setting in which to celebrate your getaway.

Warm days can be spent on the nearby sands of Maenporth, Swanpool or Gyllyngvase Beach where you can sunbathe, swim, build sandcastles and take in breath-taking views across the azure blue sea.

Grab your sailor’s hat and head into town, set on the mouth of the River Fal, the harbourside town of Falmouth has many individual shops and an array of delicious cafes, quirky bars and quality restaurants.Explore the surrounding coastline by embarking on the regular ferry boat from the Prince of Wales Pier which runs 364 days of the year.Sail over to Trelissick House and Gardens or stop off at picturesque St Mawes and explore the Roseland Peninsula.

Mabe 3 miles; Penryn 2 miles; Truro 11 miles.

Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbour-side pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes). For nature lovers there is the Swanpool Nature Reserve, a lagoon and site of special scientific interest teeming with a variety of wildlife. There is also a golf course. Falmouth offers such a rich variety of landscape and attractions for people of all ages, it is sure to tempt you back time and again.
