Returning guest to the Pendra Loweth site - over 30+ times in last 20+ years.

3rd stay in Manuka. Manuka is a great base for staying in West Cornwall / the Lizard. Pendra on site clubhouse facilities much improved with current tenant running the bar. Great food! We will be back in September. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay in Manuka.

Very comfortable. The only thing we were disappointed with was the plunge pool and tub. It seemed to be dominated by children splashing and jumping in and out despite signs saying not to do this. Could this be monitored more? We avoided going because of this which was unfortunate as it was one of the reasons we decided to book.

A lovely , well equipped house on a beautifully maintained site .

Easy walking distance to the beach . Great to have the bar / restaurant on site .

Manuka is a great holiday property, very family orientated with games, stair gate, cot and high chair and 3 bedrooms.

It had everything we needed to be comfortable and practical for cooking and being social able. The tennis courts are very good and the playground is close by. Set in a valley with lovely gardens I would recommend staying here with everything that Falmouth has to offer in your doorstep

The house overall is ok.

Attention to the cleanliness needs to be looked into. There were hairs everywhere from the long ones on the skirting in the bathroom to carpets and body hair on the bathroom sink! The bathroom was very dirty, there is black mould around the bath/sealant, which looks very bad. Red looking dirt on the tiles near the taps. The sink waste plug surrounding was dirty. Overall the upstairs bathroom was a big let down and needs revamping. The trays in the kitchen oven were dirty and greasy. There were covers on the very uncomfortable sofas that didn’t fit and slid down/moved constantly, they were very annoying. The hot water was only on for the first night, we had to keep putting the emersion on and wait many hours to get a shower that wasn’t freezing. Finally, I contacted the company to ask about Christmas decoration, as it was Christmas. I was told it would be decorated, however, a 2ft tree with 5 strange and random decorations, 2 cushion covers and a sellotaped ‘Merry Christmas’ sign on the mirror was an extremely poor show. I felt very let down by this especially as I had said I was willing to take my own, I was just clarifying as most places I’ve rented like to decorate themselves. Until now, I’ve always been very happy with the decoration in other places we’ve rented. Whilst I understand it’s a dog friendly place, which is great, the cleaning and attention to detail could be so much better. I won’t be returning unfortunately.

Great place to stay in.

We stayed in another cottage there two years ago which was very poor and disappointing, Everything in this cottage is of high quality which makes you holiday that much better. Will be staying there again. Lovely place and the site is also well maintained.

We had a fantastic stay at the Manuka accommodation.

Very child and dog friendly with all the amenities you'd need. The welcome pack felt very homely. We will certainly be planning a return visit.

Returning guest to Pendra Loweth after multiple stays since 2003.

Our second stay in Manuka. This cottage is definitely in the top 3 on the site, based on our having stayed in 14 different cottages on the site over the last 20 years. Facilities within the cottage are perfectly adequate with everything needed for self-catering with some added home comforts. Only one minor issue on this occasion is with the opening times at the onsite bar, Joyfuel. Food is only being offered on Friday and Saturday evenings at present, with advertising for their being open from April to October. That said, Pendra Loweth is an ideal base for exploring West Cornwall and the Lizard.

Only slight problem was that the bath was a little difficult to get in and out of in order to shower.

Another hand rail would have been helpful. However we found a step stool underneath the stairs which helped us.

Returning customer to the Pendra Loweth site for some 40+ times over last 20 years.

This was, however, our first stay in Manuka Cottage. Good to see owners in the progress of updating the facilities within the cottage. Already booked for September!

The property was well maintained, spotlessly clean and welcoming.

We could not fault the accommodation.

Great accomodation and can see the work you have put in , such as kitchen upgrade.

Power shower was superb and hot, bbq useful...superb peaceful location.

Lovely property.

Really well equipped. Comfy beds. Lovely new kitchen and downstairs toilet. Grounds and facilities on site are lovely. Shame the splash pool and jacuzzi are not available at this time of the year.

Good location for coastal walking and walking into Falmouth. Great having parking right outside the door.

A truly lovely home very comfortable, perfect location for walks with our dog.

Bar staff were so helpful well equipped house, beds were so comfy I have asked whar mattress was used in the double bed most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Would definitely recommend this place to other people

A lovely cottage in a tranquil setting.

Easy parking and moments from many lovely places. It’s quiet and deceptively spacious. A great find!

Lovely accommodation to stay in close to Falmouth and nice peaceful surroundings - would definitely recommend and will be looking to come back again :-)
