Robert ““A Hidden Gem — Peaceful, Heartwarming, and Truly Special” Before booking, I hesitated.”
There was only one review, though it was positive. It felt like not many people knew about this place, and that made me wonder. But something about it spoke to us — we were longing for peace, space, a hot tub, a firepit, a grill, and the simple charm of a Cornish village rather than the city noise and crowds. There was only one review, though it was positive. It felt like not many people knew about this place, and that made me wonder. But something about it spoke to us — we were longing for peace, space, a hot tub, a firepit, a grill, and the simple charm of a Cornish village rather than the city noise and crowds. Now I know why there aren’t many reviews… there are only three tents here. It’s such a treasure that people probably want to keep it secret so it’s easier to book — honestly, that must be the reason! I’m so grateful we trusted our instincts. This was exactly what we needed. After long days exploring Cornwall, we were always excited to return to our luxurious tent surrounded by peaceful May greenery. Mornings felt magical — coffee at sunrise with views of nature was the perfect way to start the day. One morning, I woke up to the sound of a crow — its loud caw caw felt almost like something from a fairytale, adding to the charm of the countryside. But the true highlight was seeing our 4-year-old nephew , Erik, so full of joy. He sat on a chair and called out to us with pure excitement: “Please, please come and see — look at the view!” His little arms spread wide as he proudly showed us the endless space and breathtaking landscape. He climbed onto the hammock, ran barefoot through the grass, delighted by the morning dew and fascinated by tiny bugs hiding in the blades. It was a beautiful reminder of how magical nature can be through a child’s eyes. As for the tent itself — it felt like home, only better. Nothing was missing, not even an air fryer! Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared, with hot water and the comfort of a five-star hotel. The decor was elegant yet cosy, and the extra touches made it special: a pool table, a charming honesty shop, and even a cinema for kids. Thank you so much for creating this little paradise. We left with full hearts and unforgettable memories. We will definitely return — see you again soon! Robert with family
