“We were very surprised to see this rental was listed as 5* as it’s definitely past its best.”

Whilst the property size is great, hosts friendly and helpful, it has plenty of comfy sofas, well equipped kitchen, fireplace wood and bedrooms too. What lets it down is the attention to detail on basic things. The hot tub lid is broken and is very difficult to open & close. The patio garden flower box is rotten and falling apart, as are several of the patio slabs. What lets it down is the attention to detail on basic things. The hot tub lid is broken and is very difficult to open & close. The patio garden flower box is rotten and falling apart, as are several of the patio slabs. Both showers don’t work properly (in the main shower, the waterfall and hand-held shower operate at the same time - you cannot use just one). The main shower is blocked and fills up to dangerously overflowing. Main family bedroom downstairs is very cold at night. Kitchen walls are stained with water damage. Bathroom and bedroom windows don’t close properly & lock. The sitting room door is very stiff and difficult to lock. Whilst these may seem petty, they add up to a property that was probably stunning 5yrs ago, now it feel neglected.

Thank you for your comments. I'd like to point out that Tremornah is a 4* rating and always has been, hence 4* prices, not 5*. The hot tub lid was new this season and is checked daily. It has a lifter on it which we could have shown you how to use if we'd known you were unsure. You mentioned the patio door at the time and we offered to fix it immediately but you advised it didn't bother you. The manual on the table when you arrived clearly explains how to operate the heating so you could have had it as cool/warm/hot as you like at the flick of a switch. As for the other issues, they're not easily fixed with back to back changeovers but will be addressed by our maintenance team as always, during the winter. Property Owner
