“We had an absolutely fantastic time at this cottage – The property itself is beautiful: spotlessly clean, and equipped with every comfort we needed.”

The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking meals, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the living spaces felt cosy and welcoming, with plenty of room for our group. The highlight for my children, without a doubt, was the private hot tub It was spacious, spotlessly clean, and perfectly maintained . The location is ideal – peaceful and surrounded by gorgeous countryside and coastal walks, yet still close enough to local villages, pubs, and beaches. . I’d highly recommend this cottage ...

About the location

TINTAGEL

Camelford 5.9 miles; Wadebridge 13 miles.

Tintagel, home of the legendary King Arthur’s Castle, whose ruins dominate the cliffside just outside the village, is a popular but not overcrowded tourist destination, surrounded by the sea, rocky coves and stunning scenery. Several beaches, including nearby Trebarwith Strand and Bossiney Cove, are within easy reach and surfing is the main attraction for those who love the water. Tintagel has several pubs and restaurants and the Old Post Office (National Trust) is a must. For the energetic, the South West Coast Path passes through the village and in both directions it winds its way along the cliffs and down to the water’s edge through dramatic countryside. Head north along the path and within a short distance is the beautiful village of Boscastle with its quaint quay and village pubs for refreshment. Further afield are the surfing meccas of Newquay and Bude, with their resort attractions, while the open spaces of Bodmin Moor, the Eden Project, Padstow, Camel Estuary and Port Isaac are all within a short but scenic drive.
