The Old Cows House

A lovely cute place me and Luca my dog loved it so much we have already booked again.

Was made to feel very welcome was aloud to go and see the most beautiful cows and a baby calf I couldn't recommend it highly enough

A good choice overall, presented to a high standard, every thing you needed was there .

wine, fresh flowers, cream tea very welcome after such a long drive, i would strongly recommend you stay there.But be very careful when driving on those very narrow lanes.drive slowly at all times.

A very nice and cosy place to stay.

It was peaceful and tranquil and the,property owners are,lovely people.Loved being on a farm and talking to the owner about his cattle. And very likely, if we get the chance would love to return to for a summertime holiday.

The property is wonderfully peaceful and with superb views over farmland. As others have said a shelf in the bathroom would be nice, other than that, perfect. We hope to return.

Cream tea and bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival ( very generous portion ) Peacefull setting ,beautiful surroundings.. 4 legged friends to great you daily ( cows and dogs ) Accessible for people with mobility related issues ,just one small issue for us was the sofa very low but very comfortable ( had trouble getting up from it ) Bed very comfortable, kitchen well equipped ... Read instruction on how to get to property as we took the wrong lane ..

The hosts were incredibly nice and friendly and really helpful, the accommodation was just what I needed.

He had everything I could possibly need. I peace and quiet and was able to walk my dog around the area because the hosts realise I had and they let me go no problem even though it’s working. Farm , I would definitely definitely stay there again no questions asked absolutely would recommend it

Cozy and warm, excellent facilities. It had everything we needed for a very peaceful break. It is also centrally located for exploring all around the beautiful Cornish coast. We would highly recommend this property. We will be going back !

We were warm and cosy at the Old Cows House and had everything we needed and we really enjoyed the very generous cream tea that was there to welcome us.

we were lucky with the weather and went walking with the dog everyday. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely stay at the old cow shed which had everything I needed.

They'd even left scones, clotted cream and jam in the fridge for when I arrived which was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend!

We spent a week at the Old Cows House.

It was very comfortable, clean and quiet, Thank you for the cream scones and bottle of wine . It was within easy reach of Falmouth where our daughter is at university. I would highly recommend if you wish to explore this part of Cornwell at any time if the year.

We had a fabulous stay at The Old Cow House. Welcoming and friendly owners, always a morning Moo' hello from the cows, peaceful, relaxing and beautiful surroundings. 100% positive feedback on every level. We will be returning as soon as we can. A perfect escape from day to day stress and a great place to relax and rest.

Perfect location for exploring, very well kept cottage and the hosts were great.

The price is very reasonable for what you get. Would highly recommend staying here. We loved it !

Lovely cream tea and bottle of wine was there on arrival. Quiet location although very dusty track so be prepared to have a very dusty car if it is dry. Would recommend this accommodation and location

This was the 1st time, since we started using your website to book our holidays, that what was advertised, matched what we saw.

Again, to date, this was probably our best holiday! The property was exceptional, the location brilliant and the owners were lovely people, helpful and friendly, it was the best so far and this is down to the owners.

The owners, Meg and Anthony were warm, kind and sociable, welcoming us and our dog, Heidi. Our conversations with them certainly added to our holiday experience, and their dogs definitely added to Heidi's too – they had a lot of fun playing together. On arrival we were treated to a bottle of wine and a splendid cream tea. I couldn't recommend the Old Cow House highly enough – Perfect :-)

The farm is lovely and Helston a short drive away for supplies. The accommodation is comfortable and good value. We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending the cottage to others.

The facilities were more than adequate for my stay. The farm was always warm and welcoming after every long day at work. Thank you to the owners for being wonderful and very friendly.

bed could do with being a 5 foot as to a 4 ft 6 " also the sofa is too low, my wife with a dodgy ankle etc could not get up with out help and i struggled and i dont have any problems, otherwise the cottage was fine and well equipped, bed was comfortable even if too small

Couldn’t ask for better place to stay was warm welcome friendly people I’d recommend to anyone hopefully will stay again the cottage made are holiday

It is a great centre for visiting the coastline with the benefit of a peaceful stay in a rural setting.

Can do with clothing storage (drawers) and mirror in bedroom.

Shower/WC needs shelving for toiletries and somewhere to hang/store towels. Sofa seating too low. Kitchen excellent. Hosts and hospitality excellent.

This was very comfortable in a quiet location, on the cleanest Farm I have seen, good views over the valley, idealic location.

Cottage was comfortable and well appointed and a good location for travelling within the local area.

Great location being in the middle of nowhere but also close enough for beaches and essentials.

Very comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and a cream tea ( sorry but it’s cream on first ;) ) waiting in the fridge along with flowers were a thoughtful touch. It’s on a working farm so two weeks of the in for the winter cows, boys and bulls was an added bonus and joy which I took advantage of several times a day along with the 4 dogs belonging to the owners! Fabulous time and would happily return. Thanks to all at the farm :)

Be aware that there are no local shops to nip out to to get supplies & no restaurants either.

You'll need to plan ahead as far as groceries & eating out are concerned. Really peaceful & pleasant surroundings though with warm & welcoming hosts.

We found the sofa was very low down and I would recommend having a mirror placed in the bedroom a towel rail in the bathroom and small shelf of some kind would be recommended, other than those few things the cottage iwas nice and cosy, a good night's sleep as nice and dark and quiet and a lovely comfy bed I would certainly stay again, and a lovely cream tea on arrival with available milk tea coffee and sugar, very welcoming

Has a fantastic short break, great accommodation on a loverly farm with stunning views.

Should have booked for longer we will definatly book again.

We had a real Cornish experience from the welcoming cream tea to meeting Meg and Anthony who were able to tell us about the farm.

The Old Cow’s house was very comfortable and spotless, a good location for exploring West Cornwall.

Meg and Anthony met and welcomed us on arrival. The barn was exactly as photograped and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with everything we needed. Two very good pubs/restaurants within a few miles. If we holiday in this area again we would definitely be happy to use this accommodation in the future.
