    “Beautiful property in a fabulous surroundings and convenient location.”

    All the fixtures and fittings were top quality and the space was excellent for 2 couples and a dog. The garden is enclosed with gorgeous views and lots of furniture to enjoy the views.

There are a number of pubs within walking distance, notably the Silver Ball for a friendly drink and the Ring o Bells for fantastic food and service. Would definitely go back to the coach house.

The property

The Coach House is a delightful detached, stone cottage situated in St Columb Major, Cornwall, boasting some of the most stunning countryside views around, with easy access to the town centre for a variety of shops.

The cottage has undergone considerable renovation, creating a stunning holiday home for small families or friends.

With the interior boasting a reverse-level accommodation, you will have easy access to the two ground floor bedrooms, one of which has zip and link features and can be made into twin beds upon request, so whatever your group type, there will be something to suit you.

Both bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, perfect for those early risers, so everyone can start their day with a spot of luxury.

Follow the steps up to the wonderful open-plan living space, boasting a large balcony, where families can sit out and enjoy the far-reaching views.

Furnished to a high-standard, this contemporary kitchen will inspire you to dust off those cooking books and indulge in the modern appliances at hand.

The dining area makes for a wonderful social space for family gatherings.

Relax and unwind in the lounge area, while catching up with your favourite shows of an evening.

The garden offers a large lawn and gravelled area, with plenty of seating so you can put your feet up while your pet and little ones play freely.

While you're in the area, discover the magnificent Nine Maidens stone row, a string of nine ancient, Neolithic stone monuments boasting a wealth of history.

Drive towards the coast for a plethora of lovely sandy beaches, perfect for families to enjoy a day out and take the opportunity to learn how to surf, or simply enjoy its clear waters for swimming or topping upon that tan!

Newquay 7 miles; Padstow 9 miles.

An old and picturesque market town nestled among lush green countryside, just five miles from the North Cornish Coast. The resort attractions of Newquay includes bars, clubs, a zoo, vibrant shops, the National Surfing Centre and fabulous beaches are all just 7 miles away, while 9 miles in the other direction is the sleepy fishing port of Padstow. In between lies a beautiful section of the South West Coast path, winding its way over the clifftops, down to tranquil coves and across some of the region's top beaches.
