Just outside the historic village of Bradworthy,close to the Tamar Lakes and within a half hours drive of some of the best surfing and family beaches on the North Devon/Cornwall coast including Bude and Sandymouth Bay, Billy's Barn offers the perfect blend of coastal and rural escapism for couples or families.

Explore this lovely region of Devon where peaceful woodland walks and bicycle rides will allow you to embrace the rolling countryside along designated paths and off road tracks.

You will never be short of things to do in this fantastic location.The beautiful sandy beaches of Bude are just 11 miles, and perfect for days out whether it's for a bracing winter walk along the cliff tops, or riding some of the best surfing waves in the South West.

Take the children to the famous sea water pool or enjoy a seafood lunch at 'Life's a beach' restaurant overlooking Summerleaze beach.

Less than 10 minutes is the Tamar Lakes, perfect to enjoy a stroll or take part in some of the watersports available on site.

The local village of Bradworthy has everything you could need including a small supermarket, butcher post office and the all important village pub, that has a great reputation for good food and local ale.

Nearby the towns of Holsworthy, Kilkhampton and Bude have a variety of shops and larger supermarkets including a Waitrose. Billy's Barn is set amidst the owner's farm, with a private aspect, enclosed lawn garden equipped with picnic bench, ideal for alfresco meals.

A barn conversion with immense charm and a welcoming atmosphere, vaulted ceilings, timber floors and full-length picture windows at one end allow you to enjoy the country views, where often you will see deer, pheasant and of course Billy the Goat who enjoys standing high on a bale of hay in the paddock.

The spacious sitting room has an open plan layout with an electric wood burner effect stove as a focal point.

A dining area and fitted kitchen, with Belfast sink is equipped with all the mod cons.

There are two attractively dressed bedrooms, the master bedroom furnished with a striking oak four-poster bed and with en-suite shower room.

There is also a separate family bathroom.

There is parking for two cars close to the cottage.

Off the beaten track and surrounded by the lush green pastures of North Devon, it provides the perfect base for a truly relaxing holiday in an area with several top class visitor attractions. Just 3 miles away the Tamar Lakes provide fishing and an array of watersports for the enthusiast, while south-west is the beach resort of Bude, with its outstanding surfing, rocky coves, golf course and restaurants. Several excellent stretches of the SW Coast Path, the beaches at Sandy Mouth and Welcombe Mouth, Hartland Point Quay and Lighthouse and the beautiful cliff-side village of Clovelly and bike riding on the Tarka Trail are some of the attractions that should not be missed in this fascinating area.
