Brambleside Lodge is an all-ground-floor property offering an open-plan, studio-style accommodation for a couple looking for a relaxing retreat, while also being within easy reach of the city of Truro, along with the north and south coasts of Cornwall.

Accessed via a private electronic gate, park your car and walk the lovely private woodland path, where a water feature runs alongside, enter the property and discover a huge open-plan living space with character wooden beams, a dining area to enjoy meals together, armchairs to relax in whilst enjoying watching something on the TV, an open-kitchen with a host of appliances as well as ample storage space, plus a king-size bed where you can enjoy a peaceful rest.

The wetroom-style shower room is spacious and allows you to get ready in style each morning, while the whole property is accessible for any guests using a wheelchair.

Outside is a huge, well-maintained lawn, along with a decking area with furniture and an umbrella, where you can enjoy lunch in the sunshine, plus a patio with sun loungers.

Cornwall's only city, Truro, is just two miles away, with excellent shopping facilities, plus a host of restaurants,bars, galleries, a theatre and cinema.

Visit the stunning Gothic cathedral, enjoy wildlife and history exhibits at the Royal Cornwall Museum and take a scenic stroll along the river and through pretty Boscawen Park.

The coastal town of Falmouth is a short drive away, with two fantastic beaches, the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, the hilltop Pendennis Castle, which overlooks the sea and was built by King Henry VIII, and bat trips that will take you to St Mawes, where you can discover the spectacular Roseland Heritage Coast.

You are also close to the subtropical Trebah Gardens and the Lizard Heritage Coast, while a few miles north will bring you to St Agnes and the surrounding heritage coastline, with a choice of sandy beaches that enjoy North Atlantic waves and are fantastic for surfing and a range of watersports.

There are plenty of opportunities for exploring bustling cities and towns, as well as idyllic seaside resorts, from this wonderful holiday lodge.

Steeped in history and intriguing architecture there is always plenty to do and see. Just meandering through the Georgian cobbled streets is a pleasure in itself. With many peaceful parks all within a short stroll from the centre it is a most relaxing city to visit. A wonderful day trip can be had from Truro to Falmouth along the stunning Fal estuary with many options to disembark and pick up the boat later along the scenic river trip.
