Chapel Park
Description
Chapel Park, a homely lodge set across two floors in the quiet countryside on Whalesborough Resort and Spa near Marhamchurch, Cornwall, offers designated parking and a fenced garden, making it a practical choice for families or friends travelling with pets.
Step inside and the warmth of underfloor heating greets you, complemented by the glow of a woodburning stove.
The open-plan living space flows naturally, with a Smart TV positioned for relaxed viewing and a breakfast bar that adds a sociable touch to mealtimes.
The kitchen, fitted with a double oven, American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, and kettle, is ready for anything from a quick bite to a celebratory dinner.
Upstairs, two bedrooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements.
The king-size room includes a flatscreen TV and an en-suite with a shower cubicle, whirlpool bath, basin, and WC.
The twin room also features a flatscreen TV and its own en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC.
A separate WC on the ground floor adds an extra layer of convenience.
Outside, the fenced garden provides a secure space for pets and children to roam, with sun loungers, outdoor furniture, and a barbecue area set for sunny afternoons.
The surrounding countryside invites exploration, with scenic walking routes and easy access to nearby attractions.
Chapel Park is a well-considered lodge with space to gather, cook, and explore at your own pace.

What guests are saying
Our stay at Chapel Park was very enjoyable with great facilities and we would definitely like to go back.
However there were some improvements which we feel could be made. It’s the first time we have stayed in a Sykes property where there were no essentials to get you going. No washing up liquid , no dishwasher tablets , no washing machine tablets. Only a small amount of toilet roll , one spare black bin bag. The property was clean but in our opinion could have done with a deep clean , there were cobwebs everywhere and stains on the carpet and the blinds were dirty and full of dust. We had to ask for sun loungers as there were none in the garden when we arrived. It would have been nice to have towels provided for the leisure facilities. The Weir restaurant was lovely but would have been nice if it was open a little later until maybe at least 9pm in the evenings. We felt that the accommodation could have done with a little refresh..
