Amazing dog friendly property and very friendly owners, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and that you have a great holiday.

Views are stunning and the house is very comfortable this is our third stay here and we have already booked to return next year.

We had an enjoyable stay at Woodhall.

It was clean and tidy and peaceful.Great outside area for the dog.Had one problem with bathroom light but contacted Sharon and it was fixed promptly.

We enjoyed our holiday at Woodhall.

However half of our party were only with us for a few days and the house was booked for them particularly as it had a hot tub. The hot tub was actually not working from arrival until monday evening after an engineer visit. Our guests were dissapointed by this as they left on wednesday.. The house is well equipped and has lovely bedrooms. The bathrooms are adequate but the door locks are faulty and we were quite often locked in the bathrooms and needed to be let out from outside. Beautiful veiws from the lounge. The garden has more parking area than actual garden, online pictures do not show this.The garden plants were not maintained, lots of weeds.Also no sofa on the decking as pictured online. The gardener came without warning to strim the grass, luckily our dogs were in the house at the time.We enjoyed our visit, were just a little dissapointed by some things considering the cost of the accomodation.

Woodhall is a lovely peaceful place to stay with amazing views.

Very clean and comfortable. Our dogs also enjoyed the big garden to play in. Our only issue was couldn’t get any of the televisions to work Bruce kindly came to try and sort the main tv in lounge but we only managed to get limited access. But would recommend Woodhall as a wonderful place to stay

Lovely spacious property, well kept and had everything we needed, great support from Sharon who popped round when needed her on one occasion.

Nice location away, quiet area but close enough to popular areas which we travelled to via car. Would love to use the property again.

A very comfortable property with all the essential equipment.

Fantastic views over Cardinham woods. We both enjoyed all the local walks and also the two dogs. A wonderful place to stay and would recommend to anyone who would appreciate a very peaceful holiday.

Absolutely beautiful.

A lovely one level home in the most beautiful setting. Woodhall is warm, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. All the bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of hanging and storage space, the lounge suite was comfy and the views from the property are fabulous. Kitchen super well equipped and modern and bathrooms all modern and spacious, this house is a real gem of a find in this gorgeous part of Cornwall. We always travel with 4 dogs and Woodhall is perfect with plenty of space and a secure garden, and the added benefit of a large sloping field for ball games and exercise, the dogs loved it! We loved it so much we booked to return in the Autumn before we had even left…. Looking forward to seeing the stunning view in all its autumn glory. Sharon and her family were excellent hosts and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Woodhall to anyone looking for high end dog friendly accommodation in this beautiful part of the country.

We arrived in the dark, so it wasn’t until the morning that we truly appreciated the beautiful views. It was absolutely stunning and well worth the wait. The location is incredibly peaceful making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooms were spotless, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The property owner also checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. We would 100% recommend staying here and would happily return in the future.

A big thank you to Sharon , who was on hand to answer any questions . Although we never met in person, Sharon came across as a friendly and helpful host. The views are absolutely amazing- you don’t need to watch tv . Our accommodation was clean , looked exactly as it did in the photos, and had everything we needed. The bed in the master bedroom is extremely comfortable, so much so that we asked Sharon where she bought it. Our children enjoyed using the hot tub. The property is situated in an ideal peaceful location, yet no too far car journey from amenities. We would definitely recommend staying at Woodhall and wouldn’t hesitate booking again.

Lovely spacious property with secure garden for dogs/children.

Everything clean and ready for the onslaught of our family of 6 adults, one toddler and three dogs! A very soggy week but the property was snug and warm for when we arrived back from our daily adventures. In view of the weather a tumble dryer would have been a good addition as we found it difficult to dry all the soggy clothes but otherwise a perfect stay

Overall we had a lovely stay at Woodhall and would go back.

The owner was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. However, we do have a few comments to make which did dampen our stay slightly. Firstly it was not made clear that dogs can not be left unattended at the property until we made full payment. This again was highlighted by a poster on the wall in the property saying we could put dogs in kennels which is not something we do nor many other dog owners. Secondly dogs are very inquisitive especially in new surroundings and there were multiple holes in the fences surrounding the gardens. This made it very stressful having the dogs in the garden. Although we always keep an eye on our dogs, this property said it was dog friendly. We had previously read in a review that there was a hole in the fence but sadly this was still there plus others. This property was therefore not dog friendly or secure to keep them in the garden and safe away from the open fields and wildlife. We would like to reiterate that the house was lovely with gorgeous views and the location was great. If the changes were made we would have no reservations in returning.

As a family of seven and two dogs this was perfect with comfortable living space and a well appointed kitchen.

Plenty of outdoor space and the use of a hot tub was a bonus. Easily accessible to all the major sights and places to visit in Cornwall.

The property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable throughout, lovely seating area and comfortable beds, fabulous onsuite shower in the main bedroom, so powerful, loved it.

Kitchen was very well equipped with everything you could want or need. The hot tub was amazing with it's stunning views. I cannot fault the property, it was a joy to stay there and would happily return. The only tiny negative was for the maintenance of the garden area, it just needed the lawn mowing to improve the outside appearance but that wasn't a major issue. Thank you to Sharon and Lee, the owners for making our weeks holiday a memorable one.

We enjoyed our stay at Woodhall very much, Sharon made us very welcome.

I am registered blind and found the property and grounds very accessible for me. The only thing I could not use was the touch screen hob, due to my sight loss, however that did encourage my family to do the cooking! We all enjoyed the showers in the ensuites, very powerful. It was great to just sit on the decking enjoying the sounds of the countryside, the birds and the farm animals in the distance. The garden was dog friendly and we enjoyed the luxury of the hot tub. We will be back again!

FAB VIEWS, The dogs loved the garden and Cardingham woods , the walk there from the property was rather steep coming back up, but got us fit. You can drive there but the lane down there had no traffic. The hot tub was lovely with beautiful views of the surrounding country side. Shops and take aways nearby (Grandkids choice) . We had the most fab weather still cannot believe it. The only thing was a gap in the hedge into the next property which was up a bank but two of the dogs found it several times also the gap under the adjoining gate was enough for my small dog to get through, spoke the Sharon about it and she said it would get sorted as it needs to be dog friendly and safe if dogs are allowed, We will go back.

Stunning views and a wonderful outdoor area. Our toddler and dogs loved roaming around and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The house was very comfortable and so clean! We had an amazing week here and I’m sure we will be back again.

What a beautiful & amazing place Woodhall was to stay in Cornwall.

Location for us was perfect, plenty of walks in the woods on the doorstep which our dogs thoroughly enjoyed & easy journeys to the beach’s if we wanted a change of scenery. Woodhall was so clean, everything you could possibly need is provided for & the hosts are so kind & always there should you need anything. We will definitely be back…fabulous place for anyone to stay.

Wonderful bungalow - amazing views and well situated for north or south coast.

Our host Sharon was brilliant when electricity tripped - all sorted so quickly couldn’t ask for more. We will be back

This was the most amazing house , inside and out.

Came with my family, ages 60 to 7 months and was just perfect. Everything we needed was in the house, extremely comfy beds, plenty of space for all of us , 8 of us and 4 dogs. The outside space with the hot tub was amazing…..it is so good for the dogs, safe and secure. Bodmin is a short distance away, where there is shops, takeaways and everything you need. Would definitely stay here again. The owners were on call always and very helpful

This was an amazing property and we couldn’t fault anything from the moment we arrived to when we left.

Sharon and Lee were most helpful and checked the hot tub daily without us even noticing. The views and peacefulness were just breathtaking. All the facilities were available to hand that we required. We would love to return at some stage as we can’t praise it enough. Especially as my Grandson keeps asking to go back to the house too what a recommendation from a 3 year old

We had a fantastic week staying at Woodhall!

The house is exactly as described and very spacious. The views are beautiful! We often sat looking outside whilst planning day trips instead of sitting watching the TV! Thoroughly enjoyed our week and would definitely recommend anyone wanting to visit the area.

Woodhall is just stunning, very well thought out property and very well stocked for comfort.

Views are just perfect, especially from the wonderful hot tub. Lee maintained the hot tub daily with no intrusion at all on our holiday. Beds very comfy, house beautifully decorated and clean. Kitchen is well stocked to cook anything . Garden is very secure for larger dogs and our dogs all enjoyed watching nature especially the rabbits . Only one suggestion, a shelter for the hot tub would be beneficial to enjoy the hot tub when it rains heavier . We enjoyed our stay so much we want to come back again, we had the most amazing chilled time . Great location for a base to visit all of cornwall.

Excellent location within an easy drive to amenities and places of interest. The modern house was immaculate with plenty of outside space and grounds for the dog. We loved the hot tub especially for the fantastic view. The open plan living space was great for a sociable holiday and the tv was amazing! We would highly recommend Woodhall as a perfect base for a great holiday.

Plenty of space for everyone to do their own thing inside and outside. Beds were very comfortable. Property location was peaceful which was just what we were looking for, the rabbits certainly kept the dogs entertained on the other side of the fence. Dog walking near by was amazing, beautiful woodlands and streams. Lots to do within half hour or so drive. Hot tub was perfect. Thank you for having us to stay

This was our second time of staying here and this time we stayed for 14 nights.

Absolutely love it here the views are stunning, the property is very spacious and all our family 6 adults and 1 12 year old plus 2 dogs find it very comfortable. Home from Home. We love it that much that I’ve booked again for next year. It’s perfect position in Cornwall allows us to travel to lots of beaches and places to visit within a short drive. Definitely would recommend. The owners Lee and Sharon are lovely and are there for you if you need anything.

Thoroughly enjoyed our week at Woodhall - wonderful views and great location - 30 mins to dog friendly beaches on the south coast and 40 to those on the west only 30 mins to the middle of the moor.

We loved it as did our doggies. If you like peace and quiet, appreciate wonderful views this is the place to stay. Hosts Lee and Sharon were very welcoming. Look forward to returning.

Everything was perfect except that there was not a dryer.

We struggled getting clothes dry as the weather was not dry or warm outside.

A beautiful and very comfortable property and gardens, Lee and Sharon very helpful and approachable.

Ideal base to get to different towns , had a lovely time and would come back to this property .

Hosts were next door if you needed them. Cardinham woods are amazing for dog walking with a super cafe that serves great cream teas…. If you are not fit, be warned it is at the bottom of a very steep hill!! The garden was sadly not dog secure which was a shame and the decking was very slippery when wet, both areas could have easily been made secure with a couple of gates either end and extending the fencing which would have made our stay a little more relaxing.

We had a fabulous stay at this lodge , accommodation is very large and perfect for a large family.

Fantastic views all around us and if you like wildlife it's definitely the place to stay . If you like peace and quiet then it's in a perfect area as it's so beautiful and peaceful. Only downside to our stay is that it's not suitable for a disabled person as we had to buy some equipment for my sister apart from that it's just perfect

Fabulous, perfect location, peaceful and quiet, 10 minutes drive nearest town, Fabulous places to visit if your willing a half hour drive.

Cardinham woods right on the doorstep. Highly recommended and will certainly return if we have a holiday in Cornwall again. 4 dogs also loved it.

A fantastic bungalow modern well maintained with everything you need for a comfortable enjoyable stay.

Very welcoming hosts with nothing to much trouble. Little touches like a few supplies to keep you going including dishwasher tablets washing pods dish cloths and bin bags to start your stay Would definitely recommend Great position in beautiful countryside but close to amenities and fantastic places to visit Will be back again Thank you

We enjoyed our stay everything was described on listing, we stayed when it was very icy owners was out in the morning gritting the road for us.

house was clean, warm and luxurious. Owners was on hand if you needed them, they was very helpful couldn't fault our stay, we want to come back next year. Ideal location

It was my 2nd stay at the property, so I knew the location was perfect for us.

Unfortunately, 3 of the bedrooms have too much storage, the master doesn't have enough. And I was surprised that, for a property sleeping 8 and accepting dogs, there were NO cleaning products available. As a minimum I expected multipurpose cleaner and some J clothes.

What a wonderful property and a lovely place to stay with plenty of room and excellent facilities.

The view from the property is wonderful and rural and very peaceful with the sound of cows, sheep and at night the hoots of owls. The property is well situated for lots of Cornwalls resorts Padstow, Fowey, Perranporth and nearby Cardinham wood is a must if you like a good walk and the scone are to die for. Great support from Lee and Sharon on hand if needed. I can't recommend this property enough and we as a group (6 adults and 4 dogs) will hopefully go back in the future.

Woodhall was a lovely place to stay - peaceful with the sounds of sheep, cows & birds.

The accommodation was well furnished & comfortable. The hot tub was used daily! The location was good, central to the Cornish coasts & not far from the local shops. We would be happy to return to this property in the future

Beautiful stay!

! Can not recommend the property enough. 8 adults and 4 dogs there was plenty of room for everyone. The property is so well equip for everything you need. Inside is beautiful exactly like the pictures. The view from the property is amazing. No problems with the dogs getting out. Everything was perfect would 100% stay again.

The property is beautiful, as are the views. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but then only 10 minutes to town. The hot tub was great and the facilities in the house are perfect.

For a family of three generations and 2 dogs this property proved to be the perfect place for a happy stay.

Centrally located in Cornwall with good access to both North and South coasts, and with wonderful views from the windows, we recommend it. The hot tub with views and the very large TV as well as walks into beautiful Cardinham Woods were highlights. The house is well designed and very comfortably furnished.

Property is in excellent area for relaxing, the view is ideal for wild life spotting while relaxing in the Jacuzzi, the lodge itself is clean and well equipped also cosy and warm, the owners of the lodge are at close hand if needed and very helpful.

Great cottage with everything you need.

Owners were very helpful and available if you had any questions. The views are outstanding, Cardinham woods are on the doorstep which made it great to walk the dogs. Easy access to both north and south coasts. Nice to come back at the end of the day and put your feet up with a glass of wine or relax in the jacuzzi. If you love walking and the outdoors Woodhall is an ideal place to stay.

Sharon and Lee are absolutely amazing.

Great property for four adult siblings getting away together.

Four double bedrooms and two with en-suites. Superb and the hosts were at hand if needed but very discreet when looking after hot tub 5*

After Sykes cancelling our first booking in September, (Sykes boo boo), we had to find something quickly as to not disappoint our family.

We found the new Woodhall to be available In October and it didn’t disappoint! We didn’t want to come home as a week wasn’t long enough in this perfect holiday home in a perfect location. So much to do in and around the area, lovely walks and a hot tub to finish the day off.

Beautiful location with stunning views, jacuzzi a nice extra, perfect for relaxing when you come back from a day of waking and exploring!

House has lots of facilities, the Cornish wine and fudge were delicious! The house is a good size for 6-8 so you don’t feel on top of each other! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

The owners Sharon and Lee were so helpful and so lovely. Wonderful touch as well leaving a lovely bottle of cornish wine and fudge for us. Would highly recommend the location, the house and the owners couldn't have been more helpful! Lovely place to stay and close to all the wonderful fishing villages and beaches. We had a great week in this lovely area of Cornwall.

The location of the cottage enables easy access to both north & south coast beaches. The cottage itself was clean, well equipped and met all of our needs perfectly. The view from the decking area and the hot tub is breathtaking. Lee and Sharon were on hand should we had any queries or concerns. Sharon gave us the details of a great walking app, iWalk Cornwall, which was a very useful tip and the sherry on the cake was farm eggs just 10 minutes walking from the cottage, ask Sharon for the details.Will definitely look to book Woodhall again in the future.

Beautiful accommodation surrounded by wonderful views of the countryside.

The perfect place to chill and enjoy the surrounding wildlife. The owners were amazing- friendly, welcoming and on hand to address any queries but without being too close. It really felt that you were in your own peaceful bubble. Location is good with access to A roads so that you can explore further reaches of this beautiful county.
