“We have stayed in quite a few holiday homes in Cornwall as we visit family all times of the year, but this one is definitely up there in the top 3!”

The accommodation is great, located in a quiet village, but with easy access to major road connections to get anywhere you like. We found Kensa very relaxing and has every kitchen utensil you can think of! The beds were comfortable for a good nights sleep too! The owners have definitely done their homework and thought of everything, it felt like home from home. They even left blankets, throws and treats for the dogs. Just a shame we didn’t get time to use the hot tub… maybe next time!

Thank you for a lovely review, we love staying at Kensa too, it’s become so popular now we rarely get chance to go. The hot tub is great, we went for a top spec model so it’s great fun to use to. Hopefully you will return and get chance to give it a go. People are often concerned about cleanliness with a hot tub, but ours is drained and cleaned between every guest stay, refilled and chemically balance so to know it’s safe and clean to use . About the location

ST DAY

Porthtowan 5 miles; Portreath 6 miles; Truro 7 miles; St Ives 20 miles; Falmouth 10 miles.

St Day was originally named after the little known Saint Day or Dye (better known in Brittany). The village now has a pub and convenience store, as well as a granite, gothic-style church dating back to 1828. Six miles away is the popular village of Portreath which attracts visitors from around the world with its wild and rugged coastline. High cliffs, secluded coves and sandy, surf-washed beaches typify the area while all around are reminders of the area's rich industrial heritage. Portreath offers a small fishing harbour, shops, a number of pubs, three cafés and a Chinese takeaway, while its safe, sheltered sandy beach is a popular attraction. For a great day out, visit the cathedral city of Truro with its cobbled streets, shopping centre, theatre, museum and great restaurants, just 7 miles away, or travel a few miles along the coast to Gwithian and follow the vast expanse of sandy beach, which leads down to Hayle and on to St Ives. A delightful holiday location.
