    “We spent a very happy week in this lovely cottage, which was immaculately clean and well-appointed.”

    We have stayed in many holiday cottages over the years and this is one of the best. The fact that the owners lived here for 10 years is evident in the quality of the fixtures and fittings and the practical layout. We appreciated the welcome pack of tea, coffee and biscuits. There was always a place to park a few yards away, by the church. The pub across the road has a great atmosphere, is dog-friendly and serves really good food (huge portions!). Resting in the centre of the quaint village of St Teath is the delightful, Hawthorn Cottage.

This chocolate-box, detached cottage has been designed to bring families and friends together to enjoy this beautiful part of Cornwall, filled with attractions and activities to suit all ages and tastes.

The interior offers a lovely blend of contemporary style with touches of original features to ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere to spend your evenings relaxing with loved ones.

After a busy day exploring the idyllic North Coast of Cornwall, look forward to curling up on the plush sofas which rest in front of the woodburning stove, whilst you flick on the TV.

Move into the stylish kitchen to prepare your meals, complete with a host of integrated appliances to ensure your culinary requirements are met, while the dining table offers the perfect spot to enjoy mealtimes.

As you tire, head upstairs to find the bedrooms, offering a choice of two king-size bedrooms, and one single bed (with a trundle underneath) each delightfully furnished in neutral tones and hosting plenty of storage for your personal items.

Served by a sleek bathroom and shower room, there’s plenty of space to prepare for the day.

Continuing to impress is the charming garden area, split over 3 areas with plenty of seating and sun loungers provided; kick back with a refreshing gin and tonic and soak up the Cornish sunshine.

Moments from the property is the White Hart Inn, a friendly pub serving tasty grub, as well as a pretty café where sweet treats can be sampled.

There is also a Post Office within a short walking distance.

Those who love the outdoors will appreciate the rugged landscapes of Bodmin Moor, one of Cornwall’s designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, while the idyllic South West Coast Path offers a gentler walking route with some unbeatable coastline vistas.

Plan a visit to the captivating coastal village of Tintagel, promising an unforgettable visit with its quaint buildings and breath-taking scenery, and from here you can also take a trip to Port Isaac and Padstow, both offering oodles of coastal charm.

St Teath is a picturesque village three miles inland from the spectacular North Cornwall Coast, and is dominated by a clock tower surrounded by pretty cottages built from local Delabole slate. The churchyard has a magnificent Celtic cross, one of the tallest in Cornwall, and bells ring out from the church every Sunday morning. St Teath has an excellent village pub serving local food and ales, a cafe and Post Office. St Teath is in an excellent location, and just a few miles away from the popular Trebarwith Strand and Polzeath beaches, very close to Port Isaac, a fishing village where the popular TV series Doc Martin was set. North Cornwall is the ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts, as it offers walkers coastal paths with breathtaking views, and cyclists beautiful routes to follow, such as the Wadebridge to Padstow Camel Trail.
