“The location and views were amazing and rooms were clean and private path to beach a real bonus , however the whole place inside and out was in need of a really good refurb/TLC it was shoddy which does not show in the photos when advertised , the living room carpet was filthy and badly stained to the point I wouldn't go bare feet , the paintwork inside and out looked rough, building needs revamp and tidy up outside as is a mess.”

I would suggest as its dog friendly ripping up carpet and putting in hard flooring and rugs, easy to clean option! The bathroom again needs repainting re sealing the shower etc The only good thing with it being so shabby was that I didn't feel I had to be worried about dogs bringing sand etc in and as they certainly didn't add to the stains etc could relax a bit! The furniture itself was ok and looked decent enough , the bed was comfie! Plenty of hot water and everything worked well. Would we ...

From the living room, bedroom, and private balcony, enjoy some of the finest vistas Cornwall has to offer - through large picture windows and glazed doors, where on clear days you might spot dolphins or even glimpse the Isles of Scilly. Beach lovers and water sports enthusiasts will love the practicality of the entrance porch, perfect for storing surfboards, wetsuits, and beach equipment.

Guests enjoy private access to Gwenver Beach, which adjoins the iconic Sennen Cove, and can join the South West Coast Path directly from the property - ideal for walkers and dog owners.

For those venturing along the coast towards Land's End, the nearby Land's End Coffee Bar & Roastery makes a welcome pit-stop for weary ramblers. Inside, the hallway leads to an open-plan living space with a sofa bed, dining area, and balcony doors to enjoy the fresh sea air and admire the view.

The double bedroom is a calm, inviting space; pull back the curtains and wake to sweeping sea views, watching the light shift across the water and waves roll to shore.

The kitchen looks out over rolling countryside, a peaceful contrast to the drama of the ocean views - perfect for enjoying a quiet morning coffee. For those eager to make the most of the coastline, book a surf lesson at the award-winning Sennen Surfing Centre, right on the golden sands, or relax with a sauna session at Bos Sauna, set on the edge of the cove with sweeping views of the Atlantic - ideal followed by a refreshing sea dip.

Afterwards, settle in for a bite to eat at Sennen Surf Lodge, a laid-back beachside spot overlooking the bay. Back at the property, there’s also an outdoor tap - handy for rinsing off wetsuits, muddy paws, and walking boots after a day spent exploring the coast. A place guests fall in love with and return to time and again, The Lookout invites you to slow down, breathe in the sea air, and savour Cornwall’s beauty in every season. Note: Can be booked with Refs 932664, 932665, and 932657 to sleep 22 guests in total.

Gwenver Beach Collection

Sennen Cove 1.7 miles. Perfect for beach and coastal holidays and short breaks, these properties are set in a stunning location with private access to Gwenver beach close to Sennen Cove, 5 miles from Lands’ End and 9 miles from the ancient market town of Penzance. As soon as you arrive down the private drive you feel immediately relaxed with amazing sea views all the way. The properties are well-equipped and two have a balcony where you can sit out with your morning cup of tea and enjoy your surroundings. The nearby beach is sandy and around 150 yards long and with some of the best surfing conditions in Cornwall it is surprising that it never gets too crowded. For those who want to relax and watch the surfing action the beach is a real suntrap located at the base of steep granite cliffs. With superb coastal walks in either direction right from the door walkers will also be in their element here. Adjoining is Sennen Cove with Whitesands beach, one of the cleanest in Europe and named in the top 20 secret beaches in the British Isles. Sennen Cove still retains much of the atmosphere of an old fishing village, with a small number of local fishing boats plying their trade from the harbour. With Sennen having a great pub, a top class restaurant, a café, fish and chip shop as well as a village shop you will have all the ingredients for a great holiday whatever time of year.

About the location

SENNEN

Land’s End 1 mile; St Just 5 miles; Penzance 9 miles.

The most westerly village in mainland Britain, Sennen has a lovely mile-long beach of pure white sand and is a very popular holiday destination. With excellent surfing conditions, the village has its own surf school – overlooked by a super-cool beach bar/restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows which make the most of the wonderful views. Once a hub of smuggling activity, Sennen still retains many secret passages – one of which is said to lead to the covered well in the Old Success Inn. Largely unchanged over time, this lovely village has a timeless appeal and is home to a gallery, a medieval church, an Iron Age fort and a small selection of shops where you can buy beachware, gifts and souvenirs, and a range of groceries. There is also a weekly Farmers’ Market in the village Community Centre each Tuesday morning. During the summer, the beach bar becomes a hub of activity and entertainment, with live music, weekly barbecues and popular surfing competitions.
