The property

This lovely first-floor apartment of Azure rests on the edges of Carbis Bay, Cornwall.

The beach is just a short walk away, and the coast is dotted with picture-postcard villages, making for an idyllic getaway for two.  You'll be relieved to find a permit parking place when you arrive, before heading upstairs to your new home-from-home!

Visit the neighbouring town of St Ives, a place that is home to a thriving art scene which can be enjoyed during visits to the interesting Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum, as well as the magnificent shores of Porthminster and Porthmeor.

Spend the day at Hayle, where you can enjoy the Paradise Park and JungleBarn, walk throughout the RSPB Hayle Estuary, and paddle in the waters of Hayle Beach.

Just a short drive from iconic St Ives, the seaside village of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead.
