Little Valley View

My friend and I were only here on a short break so that she could visit her baby granddaughter - we live in Essex.

Wayne and Sue were really friendly and helpful and, even though the weather was not great (heatwave in Essex, rain and mists in Angarrack!), we were really comfortable in the apartment and loved the views - we even discovered another view layer when the sun came out on Thursday! As we were not a couple, my friend took the double bed and I took one of the single beds, both were comfortable but, as these are no doubt intended for children, I found that the wooden frames were rather noisy/creaky when a fully grown woman slept in them - I need to eat fewer cream teas!! Over all we would highly recommend this lovely place. 5 stars!

The property was was ideally located with the A30 2 mins away giving access to all of Cornwall.

On arrival we were met by Wayne who was very welcoming and friendly. He was always on hand, (but NEVER intrusive), to help if required. Great knowledge of the local area and could advise on places to visit, eat, sights etc. The property was spotless and spacy and very comfortable with everything we needed for a great stay. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and meeting Wayne and will definitely stay here again next time we visit Cornwall. Can't recommend highly enough

The mattresses in the twin single room don’t seem to be of standard length; they are too short (the bed frames were standard length) so my son’s feet were sticking out of the end.

The Google Wi-Fi hub in the kitchen didn’t seem to be set up, so the signal is weak in living room. Apart from that, it was a lovely place to stay and I’d happily stay there again.

Well maintained throughout. Only 3 forks which was fine for two but four would struggle. The stairs from the patio to the entrance are quite steep and may pose some problems for anyone with mobility issues as would the very steep Steamers hill. Lots of sloping ceilings in the property meaning a need to frequently duck if you are tall. That said we had a very nice stay. Wayne was an engaging host but not at all intrusive.

The holiday property is spotless with lovely views accross the fields .

Wayne and Sue are lovely host and they love a good chat on arrival made us feel so welcome from word go. Theres plenty of places to visit like Newquay, Port isaac where Doc Martin was filmed so plenty to see and do while you are on holiday. Theres a local pub just a short walk down the hill which serves beautiful food and ice cold beer the walk back is a bit steep so i chose to drive when i looked at it. The flat appeared to have been recently completed as an addition to the existing building.

Everything has been done to a very high standard and the flat was very clean and fully equipped with almost every item for your comfort and every kitchen appliance and utensil one could need. The only minor points are: a) the door from the main bedroom to the en-suite needs a minor carpentry adjustment to allow it to close easily (I'm sure this will not be an issue for most couples), and b) the siphon unit in the en-suite toilet cistern need replacing. Wayne was on hand to help if anything was needed. If we ever come down again to this part of Cornwall we will definitely re-book this accommodation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Little Valley View.

A very comfortable, clean and well equipped apartment. Located in Angarrack, a small village close to the A30 and perfect for exploring the SW tip of Cornwall. We look forward to returning again next year.

Absolutely fantastic place , clean , comfortable, it was like being in your own home , with a fantastic view , Wayne is a lovely bloke to talk to, and was there anytime you needed him .

Enjoyed a weeks stay at Little Valley View, Angarrack in May 2023.

The apartment run by the very friendly owners Wayne and Sue was immaculate, comfortable and had all the facilities you need for a family holiday. The views from every window were magnificent - overlooking the valley and railway viaduct. The location was brilliant and ideal for touring. The weather was brilliant and so we were out and about every day. The local pub at the bottom of the hill - The Angarrock Inn has super home cooked food and we couldn’t praise it enough. Also Sanders Fish and chips Bar in nearby Hayle excellent - eat in or take out. A wonderful holiday and would not hesitate to return. Thankyou Wayne and Sue. ( Carole and Dorian Penfold )

A very nice flat with everything you need and with fantastic views.

Flat is on top floor and house is on top of a hill, The owner was friendly and sorted out any problems.

-One of the best holiday-lets we've used in the UK -Kind and helpful hosts -lovely cottage/flat; nicely decorated, extremely clean, and very well equipped.

-gorgeous views across the valley and historic railway -really convenient location - close to A30, and pretty/arty town of St. Yves -coast not far - scenic beaches with lovely white sand

This is a beautiful well maintained property with everything you could need supplied.

The views are just amazing, the location is spot on, and close to Hayle and the beach with a great pub only a few yards down the road. The owner Wayne made us very welcome and showed us where everything was and was on hand if we needed anything at all. We had a fabulous time and would definitely recommend this property for your stay in Cornwall

We had a brilliant stay at little valley view, it was a in great locations with lots of place to eat near by as well as gorgeous beaches and tourist places.

Little valley view was very clean, tidy and we had a very comfortable stay. The views around were incredible. Wayne and Sue are really helpful such lovely people. Winston the dog is so cute and friendly too! Would highly recommend!

The accommodation was extremely clean, and in a quiet location (though mainline trains pass nearby, they can hardly be heard).

Fantastic cottage with everything you could possibly need.

Absolutely stunning view. Owners were warm and welcoming where nothing was too much trouble and would accommodate any needs. We would certainly not be looking elsewhere when we return as little valley view would meet all of our needs. We travelled with a small baby of 5 weeks old. Owners actually went out of their way to obtain a cot suitable for babies age. Our accommodation and daily chats with owners only added to our experience. It has been such a pleasure to get to know the owners and be welcomed by the local community of Angarrack. 10/10 in all areas. Our only fault is that we could not stay longer and now we can’t return quick enough. We would love to take the opportunity to wish the owners the very best for the future and say we both (and little one……who will be walking next time I’m sure) can’t wait to meet you both ….and little Wilson again; and this time hopefully have the chance to invite down for a sneaky 1/2, which unfortunately we didn’t get chance to do this time round due to change in our own travel plans. We had a friendly welcome . The apartment was excellent .

We are a family of four and this place was absolutely perfect for us.

The place is very homely and comfortable with everything you need. Washing machine was an added bonus! The owners Wayne and Sue were really friendly and helpful. Thanks for the tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. Much needed after a long journey. The location is perfect for exploring Cornwall. Godrevy beach was our favourite place and we spent days there exploring and relaxing on the beach. Good waves for body boarding. As National trust members we got free parking too. Just a bit of a walk to get to the toilets from some parts of the beach. We ventured on the train to the very busy St Ives from St Erth train station. This is less than 10 minutes away, much easier than trying to park. We also had a lovely Sunday lunch and mid week evening meal at the local Angarrack Inn just a few minutes walk down the hill. I don’t have a bad word to say about little valley view. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Parking can be a bit of a nightmare but the hosts were very helpful and hospitable. Could not recommend enough. Would happily stay again.

The apartment catered for all your needs, very modern and clean.

The extra touches, ie tea towels, soap milk and biscuits on arrival was very much appreciated. We had a lovely welcome from Wayne and Sue and they had done a brilliant job on the renovation to the apartment. A very cozy stay and would definitely recommend.

Fantastic place to stay.

Holiday started with a warm welcome from Wayne who took the time to show us around the accommodation.

Everything that we could possibly need was provided. The accommodation was excellent in every way. We would have no hesitation in a return visit and have already recommended Little Valley View to family and friends.

Highly recommended it It was nice to just chill out in the peace and quiet. And Wayne was very pleasant Unfortunately we did not meet sue . But the place was situated well to be able to get around .

Fab stay.

The property is a bungalow renovation with this being the first floor above the owners. It’s beautifully done, exceptionally clean and the owners are on hand if needed but not at all intrusive. We had everything we needed. Perfectly located for exploring Cornwall as well. The beaches at Hayle and the train from St Erth to St Ives only 5-10 minutes drive away were firm favourites. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay at Little valley view, Wayne and Sue were very welcoming.

The location was perfect, a lovely village and ideal for exploring the cornish coast. Little valley view was just right for us, spotlessly clean, bright and airy, a very comfortable bed and to top it off the view of the viaduct was a nice surprise. Would definitely stay again.

Very welcoming hosts, who gave us good advice about beaches and pasties, and offered to lend us their body boards.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation. We will miss the view.
