Lovely accommodation with everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

Ideal location for exploring the south west coast of Cornwall and the view of St Michael's Mount in the the distance was stunning. The field at the back of the cottage is ideal for a morning walk with your dog. The owners are very welcoming and we will definitely return for a other stay here.

We (family of four, children 6 and 8) loved our stay in the long barn.

Beautiful views out towards St Michael’s Mount. Comfortable, tasteful, clean, and well kitted out accommodation. Felt more spacious than it looks in the pictures! Nice extra touches with the wine, milk, tea, coffee and flowers on arrival. The location was also great for us, enabling us to access both the north and south coasts of the peninsula, but also to retreat to the peace and quiet away from the busy towns on the coast. We had a great week, thanks very much Neil and Stephen!

Place was very clean and everything worked.

Hosts were kind, polite and helpful. Location is ideal for exploring the whole of Cornwall as it's near the main roads, Penzance and St. Ives. Not a great deal to do of an evening within a couple of miles though if I did have any negatives to say.

Great accommodation choice if you're looking to explore the tip of Corwall.

Lovely accommodation for a family of 4 with beautiful sea views. Lots of space for kids to play outside. 10 mins to Penzance for all amenities. Neil (owner) was there to meet us and regularly checked in to make sure everything was ok. Just note - no washing machine which caught us out slightly (but not a problem!). Would definitely recommend.

Lovely cottage, with beautiful views and very friendly/helpful hosts.

We stayed at Long Barn for a week, and it felt like 5 minutes, a sign of a really enjoyable holiday.

The accommodation was excellent, perfectly maintained and with everything you would need for a relaxing break in this idyllic and convenient location. Neil and Stephen were great hosts, on hand to offer guidance and local knowledge as and when required.

Neil was a perfect host - nothing too much trouble and a pleasure to meet. Property was on point. Spotless, well equipped and a wonderful location for exploring. The gardens were so well tended - wish we'd have had more time to spend there taking in the amazing views. This was our first UK holiday in 4 years and it didn't disappoint. We'll definitely be back!

A wonderful barn conversion in a semi-rural location but with super views of the coast (pictures don’t do it justice).

The barn is very tastefully decorated in a quality modern style, excellent versatile lighting, great TV and wi-fi, big dining table, roomy bathroom, very comfy bed and pillows. Parking is ample and the bus even stops at the farm gate. This is a great location for touring the local area. Nicely kept garden area is a good place to spend the day. We really liked it and will hopefully return!

We had a wonderful stay with our kids at the long barn.

Neil was always very freindly and helpful. The view is incredible even on days with bad weather.The place at the window is the perfect place to relax with a good book and a coffee-or tea. For the kids there is plenty of space outside to run, play ball or fly a kite. Also it is perfect to explore the Penwith Peninsula

Fantastic location and amazingly beautiful cottage barn.

Everything that you could want is there, you have to drag yourself away from the window view across the bay and St Michael’s Mount. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to explore the local area.

If I was going to be mega fussy the mattresses could be more comfortable and a dishwasher would be amazing but can appreciate sometimes the space needed for one is tricky. Very friendly hosts with great advice on the local area. Hopefully come back again in the future. Darren,Sarah,Emma and Lola the dog.

Fantastic stay at Long Barn!

Just returned from an amazing week there, and already planning to book again. The place was spotless, owners were lovely and friendly, very well equipped and such comfy beds! The view is incredible with the countryside, St Micheal's Mount and field of cows next to us. The garden is beautiful and it was so peaceful! Our 4 year old daughter loved her bunk room and there was plenty space in the main bedroom for a travel cot for our baby so perfect for families! Cannot wait to return, thank you!

We had a lovely stay at long cottage with everything we could have needed , the bed was super comfy.

There is lots to see and do round the local area. Hosts were very welcoming and had lots of great recommendations.

Me, my husband and our little girl have just stayed at Long Barn and we have absolutely loved our stay.

The Barn is very clean and accommodating, the hosts are very friendly and informative. It was like a home from home with everything you needed in one place. The prefect holiday accommodation. We will be back 5 stars from us all. Thank you to Steven and Graham for a fabulous stay with the added extras, very kind, we hope your place does very well as you both deserve it. Spent a week from 26th April 2025 in this lovely 2 bed cottage which was tastefully decorated.

We were greeted on arrival by Neil who showed us into the cottage and told us everything we needed to know. Complimentary bottle of wine, milk, tea and coffee available with a lovely vase of fresh flowers . We, including our dog, felt absolutely relaxed from the moment we got there. Very spacious, extremely clean living room overlooking St. Michael’s Mount. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, everything utensil you could wish for. The main bedroom was spacious, bed was comfortable, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space with plenty of hangers which is hard to come by! Second bedroom yet again plenty of wardrobe space with bunk beds. Bathroom was lovely with constant hot water. There was our own outside private patio area to relax and have a nice glass of wine and another garden which is shared next to it. There is also a large field behind the cottage to safely walk your dog You are not far from Penzance and St Ives by car but there is a bus service. All in all we had the best time ever and we will certainly stay again when we next visit Cornwall. Thanks Neil & Steve

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The cottage is stylish and comfortable with lovely views across the countryside to St Michael's Mount. A big plus for us was the large field next to the garden where we could walk our dog morning & evening and meant a nice relaxed beginning and end to our days. The journeys to Penzance and St Ives/ Hayle were quick and easy by car. There was a bus but we weren't sure our dog would get on it. A really lovely two-week Autumn break that we would be keen to repeat.

Amazing view of the countryside and St Michael’s Mount from the large lounge window and private garden terrace. Perfectly located between St Ives and Penzance, and on a bus route to both. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and have done a great job setting up a perfect holiday home

The barn was spotlessly clean, our hosts greeted us on arrival and showed us around.

Nothing was too much trouble for them. Will be going back at some point! 10 out of 10!

Great hosts who have gone out of their way to make sure you have a lovely holiday, attention to detail here was very much apparent.

The wine and flowers were such a thoughtful touch. Would recommend anyone to stay here if they are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday with great views.

Just back from a lovely stay at Long Barn.

A really friendly, helpful and considerate host. We adored our view from the garden and enjoyed using it for quiet reading and bbqing and eating outside. The house had everything we could ask for and was comfortable and cosy.
