Longhouse
Description
This character-filled, converted barn sits on Chywoone Farm in the village of St Keverne on the Lizard Heritage Coast in Cornwall.
Longhouse serves as a heart-warming retreat for a group of outdoor lovers who wish to explore this wondrous area of England.
The ground floor sympathetically retains some of the barn's original features; the wooden beams and exposed stonework make it a charming place to stay.
Spend the evenings unwinding on the inviting red sofas with the electric fire ablaze, the perfect way to end each day.
The kitchen is fully-equipped, whilst the dining room, with its rustic wooden furniture, provides a social spot to enjoy each mealtime together.
Both of the bedrooms at Longhouse rest under the eaves on the first floor, neutrally decorated to ensure a peaceful environment to recharge your batteries before yet another day of outdoor adventure.
There is a choice of simply lovely outdoor spots to make the most of here, with a quiet enclosed lawn and patio as well as two acres of well-kept lawns for you and your four-legged friend to stroll around under the sun.
St Keverne is a pretty village which hosts a number of friendly shops and pubs to make the most of.
From here you can venture along the wondrous Lizard Peninsula with glorious beaches, countryside and many quaint villages just waiting to be explored.
For a memorable outdoors holiday, Longhouse is the place for you.

The cottage was very good and had all we needed for the holiday,we loved the quiet rural location.
and the owners introduced themselves which we like as at a previous location we saw nobody!yes the weather helped so we could use the garden which is very large, overall we were happy with the cottage.
This is a superb cottage in a wonderful rural setting.
A gorgeous garden, surrounded by trees and fields. The owner greeted us on arrival and described the area regarding walks, etc. The cottage was lovely. We couldn't fault it at all. It is a short (18 minute) walk from the village centre, with two pubs and a Spar shop. The Three Tuns is a fabulous pub with great staff and a good menu. We love The Lizard, and this is an ideal base to explore the area.
Considering the bargain price I paid, I was very happy with the cottage.
I loved the rugged isolation of the location. Close to Roskillies for ice-creams and excellent meals. Lovely walks straight from the backdoor. A gem, that needs to be kept secret.
