Jane “Carpe Diem is a comfortable property for a summer holiday.”
We were attracted by its size and location in close proximity to beaches and amenities. The kitchen provided a good range of equipment and it was supplemented with a BBQ outside and garden seating for dining. The outside shower was really useful for washing off sand before going into the house. It also helped as we have a dog. The bedrooms were comfortable and were flexible to allow some to be either twins or king size. The local Londis was really close and provided wonderful morning ...

The bedrooms were comfortable and were flexible to allow some to be either twins or king size. The local Londis was really close and provided wonderful morning pastries and freshly baked pasties for lunch. Two good pubs were nearby and were conveniently on the way back from the beach! The local beach at Crantock is quite something - vast and sandy with lifeguards and facilities. Overall this is a good choice for a holiday which we all enjoyed.

Carpe Diem was designed for family holiday living.
The open plan living room comes styled with a contemporary finish as well as boasting lots of space for the littles ones to use.
The kitchen comes well equipped with all the appliances needed to cook up some family feasts; which can be enjoyed at the large dining table.
The stairs come with a safety gate and a soft carpet making it safe for the children.

About the location
CRANTOCK
Newquay 4.5 miles.
Crantock is a small Cornish village, just a short walk from the beach, close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the North to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, as well as National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.
