- Doreen, October 2025Thank you for your marvellous feedback on your stay at Pentire Reach. I am so pleased that you seemed to have an enjoyable holiday despite the weather! Crantock beach is fantastic for dogs as they love to run around and splash in the river Gannel too. And I expect you found lots of other interesting walks. Hope you return to Crantock in the future. James “What a beautiful property, we felt like we were in an Omaze house for the week.”
Very special property, beautiful grounds and interior and a great location a short walk from the village and beach. Thank you for hosting us for the week. I broke both my wrists the second day there whilst on a walk, not once did I miss not being able to drive out to places as the house was so lovely I was happy to stay locally.
- James, September 2025I am so sorry that you broke both your wrists whilst on a walk on your holiday. I hope that you are recovering well. Thank you so much for your wonderful review - it sounds as if you enjoyed your time in Crantock despite your unfortunate accident. I hope that you return to Crantock in the future. Property Owner
Anne “We have just had a fantastic week at Pentire Reach, it’s a lovely home & garden, plenty of space, for shared time & quiet time.”
We were a multi generation family stay. The kitchen is well equipped, and the beds comfortable, we played some of the games, the garden plenty big enough for ball games with my grandson & the dog. Our week was made all the more perfect as we had great weather. We would definitely book again. We also loved all the paintings, Our only would have liked, would have been another frying pan, shower mats for stepping out of the shower, & anti slip mats for the 2 upstairs showers.
- Anne, May 2025Thank you so much for your great review. I am so pleased that you had a fantastic week at Pentire Reach - it really lends itself to multi-generational families. As you say there are plenty of different areas to have some quiet or shared time. The garden is ideal for children and dogs, as you found, as it’s private, safe and secure. Thank you for your suggestions of things you would have liked as I find that really helpful. I will speak to my housekeeping service as shower mats are usually supplied. Anti-slip mats in the showers are a good idea. I look forward to welcoming you back again to Pentire Reach and our beautiful village of Crantock. Property Owner
Sharon “This was our second stay in 4 months.”
It is the most wonderful place. The house and garden is immaculate and the owner even informed before arriving of issues regarding the roads. Highly recommend staying at Pentire Reach and we certainly didn’t want to leave. With pubs, shops and great walks for the dogs on your doorstep we couldn’t ask for more. Certainly will be making a third visit.
- Sharon, March 2025Thank you so much for your positive comments. I was so delighted that you returned for a second stay at Pentire Reach and that you will be coming back again! As you say you couldn’t ask for more in terms of the shops and pubs and the great walks for dogs. Having dogs myself I realise how important it is to stay somewhere that is dog friendly in terms of the accommodation and nearby walks. We are so thankful that we live in such a beautiful area. Crantock is such a lovely village and a great favourite with holiday makers for the beaches, walks, scenery and plenty of excellent places to eat. I look forward to your return visit! Property Owner

- Brian, December 2024I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with your family over Christmas. I do hope you will visit Crantock again. Property Owner

- Sharon, November 2024Thank you so much for your wonderful review - and for coming back again. Thank you for your recommendation. I am sorry to disappoint you but my property is not available next year but I hope you will enjoy future holidays in Crantock. Property Owner
Gary “The property is very spacious.”
Lots of dining areas in and outside, big kitchen, easy to find, good size patio again with dinning option, great location, close to beach,
- Gary, November 2024Thank you so much for your great feedback regarding Pentire Reach. I hope that you had a memorable holiday and you return to Crantock in the future. Property Owner
Fiona Mary “We requested that one bedroom was made up as two singles as we had 2 grandsons ...”
We requested that one bedroom was made up as two singles as we had 2 grandsons 10 and 12 staying with us but the message obviously didn’t get passed on to the cleaner/housekeeping
- Fiona Mary, October 2024I am so sorry that your request for the two single beds was not forthcoming. The request is sent to Housekeeping and I also sent a reminder. I will take this up with them. I do hope that you all enjoyed your holiday in all other respects especially as I think you had the best weather we have had here in a long time! Property Owner
Helen “The postcode with a sat Nav & on I phone maps says the house is on the left entering village but is on the right, took us half hour to find!”
- Helen, October 2024Thank you so much for your review and for staying at my property. I was concerned to learn that you had issues finding the house. And I can appreciate how annoying that must have been. I have raised this with Sykes to check that the directions to my property, that I have supplied for them, were given to you when you were given the key collection details. I have been told that they were and are correct. I have also raised the issue with Google Maps.I do hope that you return again to Crantock for a holiday. Property Owner
Michael “Lovely property.”
Very homely with a large garden which was perfect for our son’s dog. Impressed by all the artwork. We all enjoyed the stay at Pentire Reach. The information pack was excellent and had everything needed. (Only thoughts for improvement are that it would have been good to have some oven gloves and a hand towel in the downstairs bathroom and kitchen.)
- Michael, September 2024Thank you so much for your extremely positive review. I am so delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Pentire Reach and that your son’s dog enjoyed the holiday too! I am so glad that you have shared your thoughts regarding improvements and I have discussed these with the Housekeeping Agency who confirms that the items you mentioned should have been provided and she will rectify this.
