Just a stone's throw from the dog-friendly beach and a range of local amenities, Seacroft offers the perfect base for a tranquil getaway, ideal for three couples, groups of six or families, looking to holiday with their pets in tow.
Park up on the shared driveway, taking in the stunning vistas that surround your home.
Step indoors and be met by a well-equipped kitchen, where you can fulfil your self-catering needs and prepare delicious meals, to be enjoyed around the dining table, with a lovely woodburning stove available to light.
If the sun is shining, throw open the patio doors and dine alfresco upon the enclosed patio, the best vantage point of the home, before cosying up in the sitting room, flooded with natural light through the dual aspect windows.
Once the sun has set, take advantage of the shared games room, which has pool, air hockey and table tennis, perfect for inviting some friendly competition into your stay!
Alternatively, retreat upstairs to rest in one the bedrooms, selecting between a super-king-size with en-suite, a double, and a twin, with a bathroom on offer, shared between the latter two.
Start your morning with a fresh coffee, overlooking the beautiful coastline, before kickstarting your tour of Cornwall, all possible from Seacroft.

Note: Due to being so close to the beach and the associated car parks, you may find yourself queuing to get to Seacroft on sunnier days.
While of course you may wait, the car park attendants who manage the car park around the Beach Comber café are incredibly supportive.
If you or one of your party walks down to speak to them and advise you're trying to get to the houses behind the car park, they will find an opportune time to hold the oncoming traffic to safely allow you to drive along the opposing lane.

Lovely place right on Crantock beach.
We choose the property as it was dog friendly and didn’t say there were any restrictions to where the dogs could go. On arrival there was a note on the handrail advising no dogs upstairs which does not work for us as our dogs sleep with us. This meant we spent the entire 9 nights taking it in turns to sleep on the sofa with them which was not ideal. The space in the property was lovely but needs another tv in the property when traveling with a group not everyone likes the same things. The dishwasher stopped working on day 2 which I reported with pictures to the number provided and never heard anything back. The vaccum stunk as soon as you turned it on this needs replacing and the property would be better if a mop and bucket was provided to help keep it clean.
Hiya Emma, wonderful to read that you appreciated that Seacroft was a lovely place and acknowledged it is right on Crantock beach. I’m sorry that restricting the dogs from going upstairs impacted your stay. The rationale of putting such measures in place is that the whole of the downstairs is purposefully laminated and tiled to facilitate easy cleaning, especially when the fur and paws of our canine companions can bring in lots of sand from the beach. In the upstairs being fully carpeted, it makes cleaning that space far more difficult to keep on top of without having very frequent professional cleans. Hence, by avoiding having dogs upstairs as well, it allows us to keep prices lower for guests by virtue of not having to cover the costs of very frequent professional cleans. Glad you found the space inside Seacroft to be lovely, but hands up, I’d not considered having a second TV in the house, but I hear the point that you are making and I will certainly think more about it; thank you. Oh how unfortunately about the dishwasher, I’m so sorry to read that. I’m also sorry to read that you didn’t receive a response to your message and pics you sent; I’ll follow up on that now as it’s incredibly unusual for the property manager not to respond immediately. Similarly, I’ll mention the vacuum, cause that’s obviously not okay and I’m sorry about that too. I believe there is a mop and bucket in the tall cupboard between the kitchen and the area surrounding the woodburning stove, but again, I’ll check with the property manager in case it has gone AWOL. Seacroft is in a brilliant position for coastal walks, the view is gorgeous and it is only two minutes walk to the beach, and five minutes up to Crantock village.
The property itself has everything you would need, with a fab array of large cooking pots, some people might think that it needs updating in areas kitchen and bathroom, but it is perfectly serviceable, the main bathroom is very spacious, the en-suite not so but ok for a spare option. The games room is a great addition and the enclosed garden is perfect for dogs to have a little space to calm down after playing on the beach, there is an outside shower to wash off body boards and wet suits, there is also a nature walk at the back of the property which is a great for little sniffy walks in the mornings,Seacroft suited us perfectly as a family of four plus a dog

Great that you experienced Seacroft to be well-equipped, and absolutely hear your point about the décor. I view aesthetic preferences as being very much subjective and as you describe, the property is very much aimed to maximise comfort and options for guests. Similarly, I hear your point re: the main bathroom with a bath, shower, toilet and sink, is far larger, but complemented by, the smaller en suite with the toilet and shower. Absolutely, I’ve found the games room to be fantastic fun and the garden is certainly one of my favourite places across the property; especially wonderful that your canine companion benefited from it after an exciting time at the beach. Yes, the external tap and shower are such helpful resources given how beautifully fine and soft the sand is at Crantock. And yes, the nature walk is delightful and I’m sure a very enjoyable way to start the day. Really very pleased that Seacroft suited you, your family and your dog perfectly. Seacroft is a beautiful building in an idyllic location.
The gated access adds a feeling of privacy on busy days at the beach. I can’t emphasise just how incredibly close to one of Cornwall’s top beaches this house is, it took less than 5 minutes to get down to the fluffy white sand on Crantock beach, The house itself is well equipped and very spacious, we had a party of six and one dog too. Sitting on the patio area in the evening to take advantage of the stunning views and cool breeze will stay with us for a very long time.

Yes, I’m similarly a fan of the gated access and agreed it does make the house and grounds feel more private. How interesting, yes, I once timed walking from the front door to getting my feet in the sea during hightide as being six minutes. Brilliant that you found the house to be well-equipped and spacious, even with a good-sized party and a canine companion. Lovely location with great views.
There were only two of us with two dogs, so probably too big for us. A little disappointed with the overall cleanliness, superficially it was fine, but hidden areas, behind the sofas was pretty dusty, even dirty. The paving steps going through the garden were covered in green algae and very slippery, potentially dangerous. There was mould in one corner of the conservatory, again potentially dangerous. The stair and landing carpet is good quality but has been allowed to get badly marked in places and dirty. Some of the kitchen equipment (pots and pans) are past their best and worn out. There wasn’t a blind in the main bathroom, the fixings are there. Most of the windows we opened were very stiff and need a little maintenance. Main bathroom shower tray is very slow to drain, can be close to overflowing on occasion. The toilet cistern in the main bathroom often stuck when operated. We had a lovely week, nothing I’ve mentioned spoilt our stay, is it wrong to expect everything to be as one would expect? Maybe it lacks the TLC of personal ownership.
Hiya Nick, thank you for taking the time to provide feedback upon your stay at Seacroft. Firstly, I’m really glad to read that found the house to be in a lovely location with great views. Secondly, the property manager and I used your detailed comments to structure action points which I’m pleased to say have largely be completed or in progress: the patios and paving steps have been power washed; the carpet on the landing is scheduled to be deep cleaned; new pots and pans have been purchased (which is also disappointing as they had only recently been replaced, but obviously get a lot of use); the bathroom blind has been reinstalled (it was temporarily removed to be cleaned); the windows and doors have been serviced with a few of the handles being replaced; the slow draining of the shower tray and the sticking of the toilet cistern has been resolved; and additional cleaning has been incorporated into the change overs. We really loved this place, the close proximity to the beach, the garden space was excellent for our dogs, we had no problem with sharing with the other Seacroft, we had a problem with the heating, the engineer can straight away and fixed it, the only bug bare was that it could've been cleaner, I don't believe the cleaner actually hoovered or mopped the place and the sofa throws needed changing, other than this we really loved our stay, would I book again, yes if the cleaning was address.

Similarly glad to read that you found the garden space to be excellent for your dogs; yes, the large size of the rear garden can provide more than enough space for two families and their canine companions. Sorry that there were difficulties with the heating but pleased the property manager was able to have the problem resolved straight away. I was however disappointed on your behalf to read of the standard of cleaning. I spoke with the property manager last night who was very apologetic; their standards are typically exceptional, but obviously not on the occasion that you visited and I’m really sorry about that. The house was immaculate and super clean! In the perfect location to explore the garden was lovely and even though were connected to the other property it still felt super private. It was great to have a washing machine and a dryer we didn’t have a mountain of washing when we got home! We would love to book again and bring our family.

We had really good time there and was perfect for our dogs with the beach right on the doorstep.
The cottage was very clean and very comfortable and we will be going back again soon and probably again after that later in the year

We absolutely loved our week at Seacroft.
The village itself was festive, warm and friendly. The house was comfortable and the proximity to the beach and stunning views were unrivalled. We rarely say that we will return to the same house and location but Seacroft is definitely a place we plan to come back to.

Seacroft is a lovely positioned property having wonderful views of Crantock beach.
The property is spacious and fairly well equipped for group stays. The bedrooms were nicely presented and beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed a cosy Christmas stay.

Had a lovely break here.
Things to note are the walk back from the beach is on a slope but we used the car to get to the beach car park, there is a parking charge. The garden is shared with other dog owners so be aware, you must lead up your dogs to get to the wooden gate that does not shut and perhaps send a member of your party in the garden first to give the all clear that no other dogs are in there if your dog is unsociable. The garden is well kept. We forgot to strip the beds and leave them on the washing machine when leaving and could not hoover as it was full and too heavy to carry upstairs per owners instructions but did mop the floors. The property is basic but clean all in all it was a good stay for us. Beautiful views.

We had a wonderful stay at this holiday cottage.
The location is fantastic—set up high with beautiful views across the beach and over to Pentire Head. It’s just a short and easy walk down to the beach, as well as the coast path, which was perfect for our daily outings. The property offers parking for three vehicles and has an enclosed, safe garden. This outdoor space is shared with Little Seacroft, so it’s worth being mindful of others who may also want to use it. The downstairs area is spacious, open, and very easy to keep clean, which was ideal for us as we had dogs with us. There was plenty of room for their beds too. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were extremely comfortable—perfect after long days exploring. One of my favourite moments each day was sitting in the rocking chair in the evening, watching the sea. It was such a peaceful way to end the day. Overall, a lovely place to stay in a brilliant location. We’d happily return!

We absolutely love this property from the location which overlooks the beach to all the facilities nearby.
We were there for a week in September and, as we have been there before, only used our car once, and that was to head up to The Cornishman (local pub) for Sunday lunch. The property is very spacious and our dog felt really at home with plenty of walks to take her on. The garden is well kept with gorgeous views.

A well maintained property in a fantastic location, with all the necessary ancillaries.
A few local eating options, but limited delivery services, due to being so isolated. Neighbours are also friendly towards visitors. Highly recommended.

Another amazing stay at Seacroft.
This is by far the best location if you love Crantock and don't want to get up early just to get a parking spot for the beach. Amazing sunset views and the kids enjoyed the games room. We can not wait to visit again.

It really is a lovely, comfortable house,spotlessly clean and in a spectacular location.
There were a few issues however. The website refers to a well equipped kitchen where you can fulfil your catering needs etc.There are, indeed, great appliances but not other items such as a frying pan. There is also a photo on the website showing a dining table fully equipped with seven full place settings. We were provided with just five ( chipped ) cereal/soup bowls necessitating one of us to eat out of a Pyrex serving bowl, just four side plates and just three wine glasses. The tumble dryer was not working. The locked room next to the en-suite intermittently emitted a loud noice, severely disturbing sleep in that room. ( possibly a faulty boiler as previously reported because the water was extremely hot) One of the throws in the en-suite room was badly stained as if someone had allowed a dog to sleep on it. The games room is a great facility but would benefit from a basic clean to get rid of the dead insects etc. A welcome pack after a long journey is always appreciated but a carton of oat milk, a bar of dark chocolate and two fizzy drinks was an interesting selection. We had planned to give family visiting from America a relaxing, luxury holiday. Unfortunately this stay did not always fulfil expectations.
Hello Richard, thank you so very much for taking the time to provide a detailed overview of your experience. I’m really happy to read that you found Seacroft to be lovely, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and that it was in a spectacular location. And yes, I very much hear the issues raised. After receiving your post, I screenshotted it and sent it through to the property manager and we worked through each issue, point by point. Neither of us can understand what’s happened to the two previous frying pans that have been purchased in the last year, but a third and fourth has now been bought for the house. We also spoke about the crockery more broadly. Unfortunately, it transpired that the replacement items that had been purchased by the property managers arrived broken about a week before you arrived, and consequently they were awaiting the replacement. However, they thought there were sufficient items remaining; obviously this was an error, and I’m sorry that your family were resigned to making do with unsuitable alternatives. To avoid such issues arising in future, they’ve since purchased 12-14 of everything. The property manager couldn’t replicate the issue with the dryer you described but will absolutely keep an eye on it going forward. The property manager has since been out with a plumber and identified that there was air in the hot water and heating system causing the loud intermittent noise; the air has now been purged and is no longer causing such disruptions. I’m sorry that the throw was overlooked during the changeover. Rather fortuitously, the cleaners were at the property whilst the property manager and I were discussing the issue with the games room, and this has now been addressed. Whilst I’m confident this does not alleviate the disappointment of your experience, I do hope that you are able to take some comfort in knowing what you’ve shared will have improved the holidays for future guests. I also hope that you enjoyed the time with your visiting family despite the property not meeting your expectations in several areas. Take good care, Michelle
The view and location are perfect the place itself is very dated and needs some money put back into the property, felt very 80s a lot of glass noisey boiler facilities not working etc I made a list

Loved our stay such a beautiful location both for views and handiness for all Cornwall has to offer.
Great walks from the door too. Plenty of space for four legged friends with the garden a huge bonus. A tiny note re glasses in the kitchen it’s nice to have champagne flutes for celebrating we did purchase some and left them for future guests. It was comfortable, clean & the owner had clearly put a lot of thought into welcoming guests there. Beautiful views, magnificent sunsets, enjoyable five minute walk to a Crantock beach. Pretty village with two pubs, decent food in both. Handy village shop. Loved it all! Thank you.

Amazing views from this well appointed house.
We had a great stay at Seacroft with our 6 Labradors!! We are so pleased that we found this gem of a house, that welcomes numerous dogs. It’s in a perfect location for walking with or without dogs, the headland and beach are great with plenty of space at low tide. Seacroft is deceptively spacious, was spotlessly clean, well equipped and has views to die for. We didn’t watch the tv all week, the ever changing sea views were far more interesting. The conservatory was a favourite place to sit and enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine, and we were lucky enough to have stunning March weather that meant we were able to make use of the veranda/patio area too. The beds were all very comfortable, bathrooms clean and hot water plentiful, and although the en-suite was snug, it was perfectly functionable. Crantock is a lovely friendly village with a well stocked shop and post office and its location makes all that this fabulous county has to offer just an easy drive away. Seacroft is up there on our list of favourites, and we will definitely return, hopefully later in the year. A lovely place with stunning views.
Lots of space, everything clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The garden is beautiful. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that, although the write up says it is dog friendly, it fails to mention dogs are not allowed upstairs, our boy is very restless left on his own when he knows we're in the house so one of us had to sleep on the couch. Had we known he wasn't allowed upstairs we would not have booked.

I’m genuinely sorry that the restriction on dogs going upstairs came as a surprise and caused you inconvenience during your stay. I can understand how upsetting that must have been for you, particularly with a dog who finds separation difficult, and I’m sorry to read that this had an impact on your experience. By way of explanation, whilst we absolutely love hosting guests with dogs, the decision not to permit dogs upstairs is purely to extend the longevitity of the carpets. Indeed, whilst the ground floor is tile and laminate and is hardy enough to sustain many a canine companion, given the property's very many canine visitors, if dogs were allowed upstairs too, upstairs carpets would probably need replacing every couple of months, which unfortunately isn’t sustainable. What a wonderful place to stay.
Accommodation was far nicer than we thought it was going to be. Spotless and everything provided and more than what was needed. The view was amazing and I was so happy sitting there for a hour or two in the morning watching it constantly changing with the weather and tide. Very dog friendly and the stair gates were an added bonus. Fully equipped kitchen. Bathroom lovely. Very comfortable beds, slept like a baby. Plenty of room for clothes. The games room was brilliant and gave us something to do on a bit of a wet and windy evening. Can’t recommend highly enough and we hope to be back again soon. Thank you seacroft for a great holiday.

This is a lovely property with stunning views overlooking the beautiful Crantock beach.
You will struggle to want to move from the main room for the view. There was six of us staying for part of the week and the property provided ample space. Very dog friendly with a private path to the beach for lovely dog walks. Crantock is a pretty village with a well stocked shop but you are not far from several big supermarkets. We were there in December property was warm and very comfortable. Strongly recommend this property for a relaxing break.

I’m with you, Crantock really is a pretty village, and yes, the village shop is impressively well-stocked, but it is definitely convenient to have a few big supermarkets nearby. Superb location and home near the sea.
The dogs loved the walks and the grandchildren were made up with the beach. We visited the local pubs which were a short walk into the village and found the local people very friendly and helpful with the area. Food was great in both pubs. The home was clean, spacious and suited our needs. Would definitely return.

1st word about this property is fantastic The instructions the owner gave to find the property were very helpful The property itself was wonderful the setting the location were fantastic, we walked into the village and went to the local shop and the pub which has been very rare thing to do when I've been to Cornwall The accommodation was fantastic great sized kitchen diner with a wood stove (we didn't use ) and there's 2 lounges a great TV which I link my Netflix to Upstairs there are 3 bedroom each bedroom had high quality furniture and the mattresses and bedding were also the same quality had fantastic sleeps, we found the twin room to be spacious we never found it to cramped and the bathroom was a very good size as well with a shower and a bath and the master bedroom had a on suite which again the shower was a little tight but worked well with are party.
Only one very, very small thing downstairs toilet. Almost forgot to say about the outside share place which is completely fenced off so it was great to let our dogs off to exercise 100% we will book again and just waiting for the availability to come up for next year and we will be booking both seacroft and little seacroft as my mum is disabled

Oh absolutely, even if I do say so myself, I believe the smart TVs were a wise choice because they do provide such great flexibility for guests access their own subscription accounts. Brilliant that you experienced the furniture and bedding as high quality, especially as it sounds like the provided you with fantastic sleeps. Fab that you found all the bedrooms to be sufficiently spacious, and agreed the ensuite is ‘snug’, but glad it worked for your party. Yes, you make a valid point, there isn’t a ground floor toilet, but you’re absolutely right, in renting out both Seacroft and Little Seacroft together, your Mum will be able to use the ground floor bathroom and ground floor bedroom of Little Seacroft. Fantastic that you and your canine friends were able to enjoy the garden; it’s probably my favourite place across the whole property. Great that you are eager to return. Crantock is our favourite place to visit after taking our daughter on her first holiday here 10 years ago.
We visit 2/3 times a year and I think we have found our forever accommodation (should it be available). Absolutely perfect location with the most stunning views and the games room for the kids was the cherry ontop. We could chill out and watch the sunset whilst the kids were entertained. Our dog also enjoyed the use of running around the large garden area, something you struggle to find nowadays. With a 5 minute walk to the beach it was nice not having to move the car either. The beds were nice and comfy and we all had the best night sleep after a busy days. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. This property really is everything you need and we can not wait to book again when the dates become available. Thank you

Absolutely stunning location , with an easy walk to the beach.
Whilst all are queuing to get on the beach and pay £10 daily , you have the luxury of 3 spaces. We have a border collie and there is a beautiful big secluded garden nice and secure ,again great.Also within the garden there is a games room with Tv, again ticks a few boxes. Inside the house plenty of seating space nice open plan Rooms all very comfortable nice linen, lovely pillows Good quality towels Really is the best spot in Crantock , views are stunning

It is a beautiful property in an amazing location.
I do not think it should be advertised for six people. Whilst there is large bedroom, a smaller double and a twin, the twin room is minute and certainly not appropriate for a couple (maybe OK for young children). We could hardly move once both of us were in the bedroom and no drawers to put our clothes in. Luckily we were only staying a few nights.

I’m sorry to understand that you do not think the house should be advertised as available for six people given your experience of the twin bedroom. Unfortunately, I think you may not have noticed the custom draws that I had built into every bed base to accommodate guests’ belongings. If you look at the pictures of the advert for Seacroft, you can just about see the outline of this additional storage. Had a lovely time a Seacroft in Crantock Cornwall house was lovely in a very nice area right by the beach which was amazing for dogs and kids plus 3 pubs and a shop in village hopefully try get back this year or next would highly recommend Seacroft to others

We had an incredible stay here!
The owners thoughtful attention to details and welcoming way the guide was written made such a difference. It made staying in the house easy. We were so impressed with all the little details, a welcome pack and toilet roll, dishwasher tablets all provided. The house is stunning and in a beautiful location, it is well equipped and the beds and sofas are so comfortable. We would book here again. We were a party of 4 Adults and our dogs .
The cottage was absolutely perfect for us it had everything you could ask for , the attention to detail was spot on making it home from home . It was spotless clean and came with a few Cornish treats. The shared garden was idea for a BBQ if weather permits and comes with a fire pit . Cannot recommended enough .

Another great stay at Seacroft.
Everything was exceptional, from the cleanliness, comfort and warmth of the property. Loved sitting in the sun room just looking at the views, hopefully the weather will allow to use the outside space more in May on our return visit. Our grandson loved the games room and we all loved how spacious the property was.

Booked a week at seacroft for my mums 80th birthday.
It had everything and more that we needed for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The property is beautifully presented,warm and very clean and myself and my family will definitely be back. The views across over to Crantock beach were beathtaking. Thank you and for the lovely Cornish treats.

Just back home to Norfolk after spending a week in Seacroft.
The holiday home was sparkling clean, super dog friendly, stair gates are helpful for stopping curious dogs go where they do not need to. We enjoyed cooking in the evening and getting cosy with our tired dogs, everything you need in kitchen & very cosy & quiet. Lovely bath, shower & good facilities such as washer drier ect. The games room was great fun & a stones throw from my favourite beach! I booked this winter trip for my 30th birthday to relax & unwind & I did just that! We use our camper van to visit Cornwall in the summer but the winter time I book a holiday cottage of some sort & this has been my favourite! After booking this place, my in laws informed me actually there is a family link to this home from many years ago… small world but how amazing is that!! Owner has obviously put a huge amount of thought into this place, I hope to book again if remains affordable :) Thankyou xxxx

We had a very pleasant stay over the new year.
The weather was challenging, but the cottage was cosy and warm. The views are amazing, we enjoyed many walks despite the weather. The local pubs were friendly and within waling distance, We also found the cottage well equipped and clean, Thank you
