“We have just returned from an absolutely magical week at the Old Village Chapel.”

It is a beautiful property with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful family stay. The rooms were clean and spacious and the kitchen was well-equipped for all our needs. The welcome pack provided really clear instructions and information, and contained useful recommendations about things to do in the local area. The location is excellent and we were able to make the most of the close proximity to the beach and the local pubs! We can't wait to return!

“We loved staying at the Old Village Chapel.”

It’s in a great location with everything close by that we needed. As we have seen on other comments, the only thing that we would like to see improved would be the general cleanliness. Every pot pan that we went to use, we had to thoroughly clean before hand. We had to Hoover twice because the Hoovers were not picking things up and may need to be looked at. A welcome pack would also be nice with local recommendations but also outlining the days of the week that the bins would be collected. We also contacted the caretaker explaining that the bifold door from the kitchen was often extremely difficult to lock and again may need some attention. We did not hear back from the caretaker. In general our family had a lovely stay.

Newquay is the home of the UK’s surf scene, boasting eleven beaches and over seven miles of golden sand, three major beaches, the National Surf Centre and an endless supply of rolling surf, making it a beachlovers and watersports paradise. The town, with its zoo, sea life centre and varied selection of restaurants and pubs, also promises a holiday to remember. For avid walkers, the South West Coast Path passes in both directions along a stunning coastline of high cliffs, hidden coves and yet more beaches.
