Cottage Summary

The Orchard is a spacious bright, light, four bedroom modern detached house right in the centre of Crantock Village.

Due to its central location, The Orchard will appeal to those who like to be within close walking distance of Crantock village’s facilities, as well as being just a short drive from all of Cornwall’s sporting, leisure and other attractions.

Crantock beach is just a five minute walk from The Orchard, making it an excellent spot for surfers and beach lovers.



The Orchard has a large south facing garden to the rear complete with patio, large lawn, elevated seating platform and Hot Tub.

Access

There is a ground floor bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

Access is through the side entrance and conservatory for those who prefer not to use the front steps.

The parking area outside is sloped up towards the house.

The garden has a large patio area with a step up to it.

There are a further five steps up to the lawn.

A seating platform to the rear of the garden has a flight of stairs with a turning platform and handrail.

On ground floor, there are four steps up to the front door for access.

One internal flight of stairs leading upstairs to three of the bedrooms, one ensuite and one bathroom.

Two entrances to house:

1- via front gate, on a sloped asphaltic drive, four paved steps up to front door.

2- via wooden gate, then along a paved path to the side door of the conservatory.

About the location

CRANTOCK

Newquay 4.5 miles.

Crantock is a small Cornish village, just a short walk from the beach, close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the North to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, as well as National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.
