“This was our second time in Penpol.”

A bit disappointed this year the welcome pack was just some dry scones !! Certainly different last year. Windows/patio door were dirty. Really dirty under door mats. We would go back as it’s a lovely house lovely position but as the owner is selling it don’t suppose the opportunity will arise.

It is disappointing to receive your feedback. Within our complimentary welcome hampers the food, including scones, clotted cream, milk and jam are bought fresh on a weekly basis so should not be dry. In terms of the cleanliness of the property, the housekeeper does a thorough job and we do not usually receive this kind of comment so it is surprising but will ask her to double check under mats. The windows are cleaned on a regular basis, but unfortunately being positioned near the Creek, it is difficult to keep the residue off them completely. Regarding the house sale, I am not sure if you received my message but I did reach out to you to let you know as a returning customer that it is still very much available and if you wanted to make a booking for next year to contact either me or Sykes to arrange. Even if we did sell though, the house is built as a holiday home so it is likely any new owners would continue to let it. Please do let me know if you wish to arrange a further visit in the future. I am sure we can accommodate you. Property Owner
