“Lovely historic property, very clean & amazing views.”

However the quiet was spoilt by building work starting at 8am (except weekends),as the building opposite is currently being converted into apartments. We were handed keys on arrival & told there is no easy way to get up to the apartment, just go up the very steep metal stairs and walk back the length of the building to the apartment. There are internal fire escape stairs with a return, which was slightly easier. Inside the flat the stairs were also very deep & steep, this was quite challenging ...

There are internal fire escape stairs with a return, which was slightly easier. Inside the flat the stairs were also very deep & steep, this was quite challenging for one of our party. It was a lovely place, and would love to stay here again, but for our party we would choose a different property in one of the other buildings that has a lift.

Hi Janine, I’m really pleased to hear that you found the flat to be very clean and enjoyed the river views. I appreciated your contacting me during your stay; it was a shame that our first and second floor duplex didn’t meet the needs of one of your party, who was challenged by the stairs. Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. Property Owner
