The property

Within the delightful village of St Day, set in the middle of two Cornish coastlines, is the St Day Holiday Park where this delightful property, Pinehurst Lodge, rests.

Benefiting from the surrounding countryside for glorious walking opportunities, as well as being within easy reach of the coast, this lodge is a lovely choice for a family holiday to Cornwall.

Head up the steps of the decking and enter your holiday home, be welcomed by a stylish and contemporary open-plan living space where you and your group can relax; spread out on the sofas in the evening with a good book or a film on the TV, gather around the dining area for a family meal prepared in the sparkling kitchen, with quality fittings and appliances to assist you in making a family favourite dish.

Rest up when night falls in one of the three bedrooms, consisting of two doubles and a twin room, all well-presented with simple but classic decor creating tranquil sleeping spots.

One of the double rooms benefits from a wonderful en-suite shower room which means you can hop straight out of bed and into a refreshing shower to wake you up, while the other members of the party can make use of the gleaming family bathroom to freshen up.

On summer days or balmy evenings, take a dip in your very own private hot tub, enjoy the bubbles as you relax into your holiday in style.

Once you have explored your immediate surroundings of St Day, venture out further to the town of Portreath, because it wouldn't be a Cornish holiday without a few trips to the beach!

Take in the delights of the coast by taking a wander along the South West Coast Path, before heading back to the shores and into Portreath to indulge in a meal at one of the several pubs.

For truly incredible beaches you must visit St Ives for a bay like no other and afterwards sit by the harbour with a Cornish pasty, visit the county town of Truro for all your favourite shopping delights, or head to Falmouth for its rich history and National Maritime Museum and quirky modern eateries and cafés.

Pinehurst Lodge will be your gateway to all the wonders of Cornwall surrounding you.

About the location

ST DAY

Porthtowan 5 miles; Portreath 6 miles; Truro 7 miles; St Ives 20 miles; Falmouth 10 miles.

St Day was originally named after the little known Saint Day or Dye (better known in Brittany). The village now has a pub and convenience store, as well as a granite, gothic-style church dating back to 1828. Six miles away is the popular village of Portreath which attracts visitors from around the world with its wild and rugged coastline. High cliffs, secluded coves and sandy, surf-washed beaches typify the area while all around are reminders of the area's rich industrial heritage. Portreath offers a small fishing harbour, shops, a number of pubs, three cafés and a Chinese takeaway, while its safe, sheltered sandy beach is a popular attraction. For a great day out, visit the cathedral city of Truro with its cobbled streets, shopping centre, theatre, museum and great restaurants, just 7 miles away, or travel a few miles along the coast to Gwithian and follow the vast expanse of sandy beach, which leads down to Hayle and on to St Ives. A delightful holiday location.
