Ewe Barn is located in the peaceful village of St Ewe, near Pentewan, and offers a beautifully converted retreat for couples, friends, or families keen to explore Cornwall’s coast and countryside.
Inside, you’ll find a bright and welcoming open-plan living space, thoughtfully designed for easy living. The sitting area provides a comfortable spot to relax with a film or a good book, while the dining table sets the tone for leisurely meals and lively conversation. The kitchen is well equipped for a self-catered stay, including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and air fryer.
The property features two comfortable bedrooms—a double and a twin—served by a sleek ground-floor shower room with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail, and WC. Underfloor heating ensures warmth throughout the year, and WiFi and a TV offer entertainment for quieter evenings. Fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included for added convenience. Outside, there’s off-road parking for two vehicles, and one well-behaved pet is welcome to join your stay. The property is non-smoking.
St Ewe’s village pub is within walking distance, while the nearby fishing village of Mevagissey, with its winding streets, harbourside cafés, and galleries, is easily reached by car. Head towards St Austell for shops, beaches, and a visit to the world-famous Eden Project, or take a scenic drive to explore the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Coastal walkers will find the South West Coast Path within easy reach, offering dramatic clifftop views and peaceful coves waiting to be discovered.

Ewe Barn is a lovely modern property in an excellent location for visiting local attractions such as Heligan, Eden Project and nearby coastal villages.
The barn was comfortable for the 2 of us, but would be a bit small for 4 adults. The generous welcome pack was gratefully received. The local pub in St Ewe was great, a 10 minute walk across a muddy field or 15 minutes along the road. The only downside is the outlook from the barn over what is best described as a builders yard and builders vans parked blocking the view.
The property was comfortable and petit.
Small for 4 adults. Property was dusty in places particularly the draws in the small bedroom. The beading around staircase was loose. The bathroom was to a high standard - overall it was well equipped. What ruined the holiday was the view of building site, with builders vans parked directly outside the window one night and arriving at 8am workdays. Had prior notice been given by Sykes of this our decision to book the barn may well have been different. As a result it wasn’t the most relaxing holiday that we have had.
