“Beautiful, cosy and extremely comfortable lodge in a stunning setting.”
Very well equipped kitchen with everything you could need. We cooked full traditional Christmas dinner for four with no problems.
Loved the touches of welcome pack with tea, coffee, sugar, dishwasher tabs, washing liquid and local attraction leaflets.
Good wifi connection, no problems chatting to my family in New Zealand on Skype and checking my online business messages.
Powerful showers and lovely large bath sheets with hairdryer also available at the property. Lovely bonus was a welcoming Christmas tree in the property.
Hot tub was a joy to relax in each day. Loved spotting the wildlife around the beautifully landscape site. Even took my wildlife trail cams to see what was about. Few good walks a short drive from site...Goiltha falls and Siblyback lake.
We took both of our elderly Mum's, one being disabled on crutches and even though the property is not listed as a full disabled access property it worked very well for her with just one step up to property and walk in shower. We did take some disable aids to assist her like rubber shower mat, toilet raise, handles and cushion raises.
Really loved the lodge, the property owners have done a fantastic job.... just one concern and couple suggestions for actual site owners. Given site has David Bellamy Award for enhancing & protecting environment was a little concerned to see hot tub being drained into wildlife pond at end of week. Would like to see some walks listed straight from site in welcome pack. Site management email contact info on laminated sheet in property needs updating.
Would definitely recommend property...we are already planning our return visit!
