Description

From Bed to Beach in less than two minutes this magical property has an ideal situation, nestled on the rugged North Cornwall Coast, literally on the famous 630 mile South West Coastal path, this stunning ground floor apartment is just moments away from superb attractions the area has to offer.

Located in the famous Dunes development arguably one of the best locations in the County. Perfectly positioned on the beach at Perranporth with its toes right in the water, is Chapel Rock View. This holiday home is presented with a high quality finish throughout. This seaside getaway is just the break you need amidst golden sands and clear waters in the town where Poldark was conceived and only fifteen minutes away from Holywell bay beach and the iconic Gull Rocks as seen on the BBCs TV series. Perranporth with its unique views is one of the best beaches in Cornwall with its perfect sunsets, inspiring the many romantic works of Rosamunde Pilcher. Enjoy the contemporary style setup with wooden floors sweeping across the interior of this self catering property. Cosy together in the lounge on plush settees and watch the winter Atlantic rollers crash in, throw open the patio doors to reveal the pure bliss outside with a large patio with shared access from both sea front bedrooms. Wake up to the sound of the waves and the stunning view of Chapel Rock. The apartment also enjoys the fastest unlimited Fibre Broadband available in the UK for those Winter weather nights and complimentary Netflix if you fancy a cosy movie night in. The kitchen is very well-equipped, with a small breakfast bar, as is the contemporary family bathroom and ensuite shower room sporting a crisp neutral finish with high quality fittings. Although their is a six seat dining table you may want to enjoy Alcatraz the cocktail & coffee shop or the Summerhouse restaurant both are on site. Stroll up to The Watering Hole, a bar on the beach, where you can listen to live music, enjoy a burger, breakfast bap or fish and chips, and watch the orange sun sink below the horizon. Chapel Rock Pool is a rare recognisable feature in cornwall not to be missed, located on the 3 mile long stretch of golden sand, this natural open air pool is filled with sea water at high tide and warmed by the sun during the day - a honey pot for families! During high tide the rock eventually becomes a tiny island. St Piran the patron saint of Cornwall’s Oratory can be found in the dunes just above the beach. Thought to be well over a thousand years old, the site is believed to actually predate Christianity. Perranporth is pretty much surrounded by National Trust properties. In fact, this wonderful apartment is on the 300 mile south west coastal path and the walk from Perranporth to St Agnes was named as one of Cornwall’s most beautiful walks.

Perranporth offers many pubs, restaurants and shops with fun for all the family, including the Perran Dairy, which has been making homemade gelato for 50 years using locally sourced ingredients.

Perranporth offers many pubs, restaurants and shops with fun for all the family. For those wanting to know more about the fascinating history to the area, The local Blue Hills Museum and Perranzabuloe Folk Museum are both well worth a visit. This property is stunning whatever the time of year to use as a base in Cornwall with many activities and attractions on offer all year round, lending itself for last minute weekend breaks due to its ease of access. The views from the lounge and both bedrooms really take your breath away many people describe it as a moving live picture postcard. Be it watching a storm front come in, or the all year round surfers, or the horses riding on the beach, with the tide going in and out it is an ever changing view you just won’t tire of even at night you can often see the lights of the fishing boats twinkling on the horizon. It really is a very special place.

This was our 5th visit to,15 The Dunes, we always love our holidays here.

It’s a perfect location, everything you want is only minutes away. We will be back again next year. If we have a slight issue it’s that all the bedroom pillows need replacing & the outside furniture is not comfortable.

Beautiful setting, views over Perranporth beach were stunning.

Apartment clean and tidy, welcome pack with tea and coffee was a nice gesture. Good joining instructions, very clear. Good parking spot. Would stay again.

Fantastic accommodation with an amazing view.

Literally on the beach in two minutes. The owner, James, was really helpful and provided excellent instructions to enable our stay to go ahead easily and comfortably. I would thoroughly recommend staying here.
