However,,,this property claims to be a 'luxurious retreat, the seating provided in the lounge area is far from luxurious, 2 x 2seater sofa's normally not a problem but, these provided no comfort whatsoever they were extremely hard not dissimilar to sitting on a wooden board, the back was so low there was no support even if you could tolerate sitting on them for any length of time, there was also 2 chairs which were so low it was a struggle to get in and out of them and provided very little comfort...We found ourselves sitting at the dining table or spending time on the bed if we wanted to watch TV of an evening...In front of the property is a lovely coastal path and used at all times from early morning to early evening by dog walkers shouldn't be a problem unless you have a family with 3 dogs in the nxt door holiday property who all bark at the passers by with dogs, the more frequent the dog walkers the more intense the barking it was horrendous at times...There was also some issues with cleanliness....
If comfort, peace and quite are top of your holiday agenda (unless Sykes decide to address the issues mentioned and act upon them) then this property isn't for you...If you're happy with just space and a fabulous view this property cannot be faulted....
I have booked many holidays with Skyes over many years and this is the first bad review I've felt compelled to post... Extremely disappointed..!! Falls far short of Luxurious....
