Quay House is a stunning, detached house settled in the coastal village of Charlestown, Cornwall.

This four-bedroom home has a contemporary interior with light grey and white décor, along with two crackling woodburning stoves (decorative only) and beautiful furnishings, making it perfect for a family or group of friends looking for a relaxing break.

Be welcomed by off-road parking before exploring your holiday home, where you will find an entrance hallway to leave your sandy shoes.

There is a charming sitting room and snug, both furnished with plush sofas, a TV and woodburning stoves (decorative only), the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine.

Prepare home-cooked meals in the spacious kitchen with a range cooker and savour meals together at the dining table.

On balmy evenings, step out and climb up the steps to discover the garden; here you can star-gaze from the bubbling hot tub or dine alfresco on the sunny lawn.

As the evening winds to an end, retire inside and venture upstairs to find the family bathroom and choose between four lovely bedrooms.

Just paces away is the town of St Austell, hosting the Cornwall FootballGolf Park for the sports enthusiasts, and the Pinetum Gardens for those who want to relax in nature and The Cornwall Hotel and Spa for dining out.

For rich history and culture, head to the city of Truro, where you can tour the iconic Cathedral, immerse yourself in the past at Royal Cornwall Museum and have a unique time at The Celtic Tossers.

A delightful and much sought-after coastal village of stone cottages and Regency houses, on the south coast near St. Austell. Famous for its collection of tall ships riding at anchor in the harbour, the shipwreck museum, excellent pubs and restaurants and easy access to the coastal path, Charlestown is the perfect holiday destination. It has even been used as a filming location, most well-known for appearing in Poldark. The area is rich in golf courses with Carlyon Bay and Porthpean close by. The picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey is 6 miles away by car, while the Lost Gardens of Heligan, several stately homes and gardens and the fabulous Eden Project are all within 5 miles, with Newquay and North Cornwall coast 17 miles away.
