    “Fantastic location with views of the bay and easy walk into town.”

    Parking available which was a definite plus in a heavily congested area albeit fairly tight. Two bed house which was well presented. Kitchen had most amenities and utensils and heating worked well. On a less favourable level, we found the beds too soft and a bit uncomfortable. There was some small areas of mould in the walls in some of the rooms and the owner did visit unannounced which seemed unusual. Despite these points, we enjoyed our stay.

You contacted us about the entertainment system and limited dishwasher tablets, which is why Simon stopped by during the day to help. Regarding the small areas of mould, the owners have since carried out a thorough inspection to ensure this doesn’t continue. We regularly monitor the property, use anti-mould paint, and provide a dehumidifier when needed. We appreciate your note about the softer beds, as comfort varies for each guest. The property

Occupying an elevated yet private position with outstanding views across Falmouth Harbour, Seabien is the perfect spot from which to enjoy the daily spectacle of craft in the bay.

Newly refurbished, this light and spacious property has ample accommodation for four guests with a modern feel complemented by original artworks.

The property is within easy walking distance of the centre of the town which welcomes sailing enthusiasts, artists and students as well as holiday makers to enjoy the many cafes, bars, restaurants and individual shops which line the streets. Falmouth is also home to two sandy beaches; Gyllyngvase which is one of six with blue flag status in Cornwall and Swanpool, both of which have a good cafe/restaurant.

Just a mile further west is a larger beach at Maenporth.

Pleasure boat trips depart daily from the town quay taking in the hidden creeks of the Carrick Roads or across to the pretty village of St Mawes on the Roseland Peninsula; a delightful spot to enjoy a drink or meal in one of the waterfront hotels.

Hidden from view, Seabien is in a charming residential street just a few minutes' walk from the town centre; a sloping driveway and flight of steps lead down to the entrance.

The accommodation is light and airy with a bay window in the living room affording spectacular views of the harbour.

A few steps lead down to the two pretty bedrooms; a spacious double bedroom with 5' bed and en-suite bathroom plus a twin bedroom together with a family bathroom making this the ideal base for couples or small families.

The enclosed patio at the rear is the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast and the terrace at the front is furnished with comfortable wicker furniture, ideal for sundowners.

Off street parking is available on the sloping driveway for up to two vehicles.

FALMOUTH

Penryn 2 miles; Mabe 3 miles; Truro 11 miles.

Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbour-side pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes). For nature lovers there is the Swanpool Nature Reserve, a lagoon and site of special scientific interest teeming with a variety of wildlife. There is also a golf course. Falmouth offers such a rich variety of landscape and attractions for people of all ages, it is sure to tempt you back time and again.
