Colin “The Meadow is a fantastic hidden treasure.”
The location is superb I could barely believe my eyes. The accommodation is roomy and comfortable. The decking is just a brilliant place to sit and watch the comings and goings on the creek. The access down to the creek edge is a bit haphazard but worth the effort. We would love to stay there again in the future, as there is so much to do in the surrounding area as well as further a field. Would highly recommend this property we had a great time, thanks

Thank you so much for your kind words Colin! We're thrilled to hear you had such a wonderful stay and that you enjoyed the view over the creek, it’s one of our favourite features too. We'd love to welcome you back anytime. Property Owner

Cottage Summary
The Meadow is a single story waterside cottage located on the bank of Pill Creek - one of our Fal River Cottages.Pill Creek is an area of outstanding natural beauty and has some well known houses built overlooking it.
The Meadow enjoys a famous next door neighbour - Creek Vean - the first house project designed by Richard Rogers and Norman Foster when they were first establishing themselves as a partnership.
Another neighbouring house to gain fame in 2016 is Gillanglaze which was a finalist in the renowned RIBA House of the Year and featured in the television show of the same name.
The Meadow is open plan, contemporary styled, making it the perfect easy-living holiday space.
Set in the picturesque village of Feock, the cottage boasts stunning water views down the garden, over the Creek and out onto the the Fal Estuary which can be enjoyed even more on the decked balcony area which surrounds the house.
The Meadow will particularly appeal to Day Sailors, as there is a private outhaul with the cottage and a nearby slipway into the creek.
Suitable for small boats.
The Meadow is only a few miles from the city of Truro but also offers local, walking distance attractions.
Loe beach is just a fifteen minute walk away where you can find a cafe, as well as a sailing and windsurfing school from Easter to the end of September, offering a full and comprehensive programme of tuition for all water sports along with equipment hire.
The beautiful National Trust gardens of Trelissick are a 20 minute walk away, right next to The King Harry Ferry where you can quickly reach The Roseland Peninsula and enjoy its sandy beaches, beautiful landscape and attractions at St Mawes.
Why the owner loves The Meadow...
"Our family have lived and now holiday in Feock for three generations, so it feels like coming home.
We love the peace, the green, the light, the air and of course wonderful Pill Creek with its shoreline, its boats and mesmerising tranquillity.
We seem to go to the theatre more often in Cornwall than anywhere else and the pantomime has become something of a tradition.
In the summer we love to take our boat up river to The Smugglers Inn or down river to the Pandora Inn.
The grand children love Loe Beach where they have learned to sail and wind surf.
Why go anywhere else for a wonderful family holiday?"
