Tobys Quay

Jane's Court ,Tobys Quay, Always beautiful and gorgeous balcony overlooking the sea.

Great to see sea and boats,and pier too. Party boat is out at weekend, although with a later date not so much. All bedrooms are super clean, with clean sheets if necessary. We stay for 4 weeks so sometimes used. Always offered by the house holder, Kylie. Have been for 4years now,and would also be back. Am older now, so perfect if you are injured, like me. My son lives on his boat in Mylor harbour, on a swinging mooring. However when I am there he stays with me, going back to his home boat on occasion. Sadly on the last week, I was very ill and 111 sent an Ambulance. I didn't want hospital, so the Paramedics were great. Did many tests there. That was unusual, but I have illnesses. I may just mention one small thing. The double room is great, with much room. Although the toilet seat is square, so I find it uncomfortable, but that's just me I guess. The 2nd bathroom for the twin room has a bath with shower too. All very clean. Brilliant white clean towels soft and warm. Kitchen full of cupboards and large fridge freezer. All flat is great, with heating if you need. Sylvia ❤️

The property was just what we wanted.

Convenient location, beautiful views, comfy beds, lovely and warm and well equipped. I gave it 5* but there were a few small things that let it down, although not quite enough to drop a star rating, but personally if it was my property I would like to address them. The grouting and tiles in the ensuite were a little tired and could have done with renewing. Especially, as when sat on the loo, you can see them up close and personal!! The door handles were incredibly squeaky so no way of moving around quietly when getting up during the night. The coasters on the coffee tables had cup rings on them and appeared not to have been wiped over for a fair while. As another reviewer mentioned, the arms on the chairs of the wooden furniture on the balcony were broken and some of the fascia on the balcony was damaged and piled up on the balcony. Not a good look. A lovely property overall though.

An amazing place to switch off.

Park the car up and leave it ,then just explore Falmouth. When that's done there are plenty of other places to explore via a ferry or two. After exploring and dinning out in the many eating establishments,which are very close. Then kick back on the balcony with a drink and watch all the carrying ons in the harbour.
