“Have stayed at this apartment many times over the years and love it and there certainly have been some improvements HOWEVER it is let down by things that don’t make it a top star apartment.”

Firstly the cleaning isn’t good, there was broken glass in main room, nothing smelt clean on arrival and the toilets haven’t seen any bleach for a long time! En-suite bathroom, broken toilet roll holder, cannot hang a towel on hooks on door as they just fall off as stuck with double sided sticky tape. Floor tiles and grout are a mess and shower door and seal need attention. Patio door in lounge area absolutely terrible cleaning. Cheap patio furniture that creaks. Carpets need changing ...

It’s those little things that make it disappointing. As I said my favourite place to stay location wise, comfy beds etc and aesthetically is lovely and best location in Newquay. Will definitely return

I am very sorry the apartment wasn't up to standard for your visit. After reading this review I went over in person to carry out an inspection, and you are correct that there were some areas that needed attention. The toilet roll holder has now been fixed, along with the towel hooks. The grouting and tiles will also be repaired at the end of this week. I am also in the process of arranging replacement carpets, which should be in place in the coming weeks. The balcony furniture is robust but has been weathered by the sea air, so we will also be replacing this. I have also asked the cleaners to pay special attention to the areas you mention. The quality of our guests' experience is important to us, and I am glad you will be returning. Rest assured, we value feedback, and aim to take it on board to improve your future stays.
