“Everything about Beach View House is first rate.”

Its location is superb, overlooking Newquay Harbour and only a short walk from Fistral Beach and Newquay town centre. The two generous parking spaces behind the house are invaluable in summer months! As I visited in November, I didn’t use the outside shower, entertaining and BBQ facilities, nor the cosy self-contained annex, but I can imagine how welcome they would be for a family in summer. The property has clearly been renovated, decorated and furnished to the highest standard. I bagged the Harbour View room and used the family shower room, whereas my companion took one of the en-suite bedrooms. My super king bed was hotel standard and the bed linen was crisp and fresh. I particularly appreciated the wash basin in my room. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, from a SMEG fridge/freezer to a Rangemaster cooker and De Longhi coffee maker. You have the choice of a cosy meal at the granite breakfast bar (as we did) or a full dining room meal. The lounge had a Christmas tree, wood burner and super comfy sofas and was particularly welcoming after a wet walk at Tintagel Castle! We appreciated the welcome hamper of local Cornish tea, coffee etc and the helpful emails from the owners, Tom and Sarah. I can’t wait to return!

Thank you for your wonderful feedback, Tracey. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Beach View House, and especially pleased that the Christmas tree added to your experience. It was our first year decorating for the season, and we truly enjoyed bringing some festive cheer and a warm, welcoming atmosphere to the house. We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.
