Onshore 6 - Newquay Towan Beach View

Beautiful apartment, clean, tidy, comfortable and had all equipment needed.

Ideal spot for the view and easy walk to shops.

Everything was as listed on Sykes website and it’s a great location.

Everything was clean and tidy. Only issue we had was the view is great so you were drawn to it but the handle on the balcony door was very loose and sort of exposed so we were reluctant to go out on the balcony very often in case it broke off. We had a great week.

Onshore 6 is in the perfect position and the view is outstanding.

But when we arrived we found crumbs and bits under the table and armchairs. The handle on the door to the balcony was loose so made it difficult to open, and the shower door almost fell on my partner because it wasn’t on the rail properly, and there was something sticky on the windowsill and floor in the double bedroom! And you definitely need new pillows, even with 2 it was like sleeping on the mattress, which ended with both of us having bad necks. I know we are getting towards the end of the season, but surely these things should be checked before changeover.

A beautiful apartment.

5 star rating definitely. The views where absolutely stunning. We will definitely stay again. The only thing I would say that needs changing are the chairs on the balcony, they where very uncomfortable, especially as we spent alot of time out there. But overall a truly stunning, well equipped and beautiful apartment.

Beautiful apartment with a fantastic view over Towan Bay.

Spent ages on the balcony watching the surfers throughout the day. Lovely sandy beach with plenty to do/eat very close to the apartment. Had a bit of trouble finding the apartment initially but well worth the hassle once we arrived. One small gripe, the apartment was not as clean in all areas as I would expect on arrival so had to do a bit of cleaning after unpacking! However, this did not detract from an enjoyable week watching the Cornish waves.

Second set of keys would have been useful.

No tea towels. However it is a great property with stunning views.

Fabulous modern apartment with exceptional views.

Idealy located for all of the Newquay beaches and amenities. The apartment is located in the center of Newquay so the rear facing bedrooms are subject to some nightlife noise when the windows are open. However don't let this put you off as it's really not an issue. Parking is easy and secure for any size vehicle.

Lovely cottage.

Shame the washing was not working all week. We did leave messages on the first and second day but these were not acknowledged. Apparently it was not working as a part was waiting to be replaced. We should have been told then we could have brought more clothes to last the week

The apartment is absolutely stunning and the view is a real wow, we spent a lot of time on the balcony watching the surfers.

When we arrived the apartment was not up my standard of cleanliness, the floor in the lounge certainly needed hovering, and dust had gathered under the coffee table. The cleaner had left half used toilet paper on the breakfast island which is not something you like to see when first arriving in a property. The washing machine door was found to be broken , Traci answered my text message immediately stating she would be round the following day (that didn't happen) . Some of the cups are chipped so should be replaced. I know this is personal preference but it needs a kettle, the water from the tap is not hot enough to make a cup of tea. Just to make people aware the Walkabout pub is not very far away so you can hear some noise especially at night. Having said that we had a brilliant time and thankyou for the goodies you left us.

Can’t fault the view and location.

Property could have been cleaner, table had a stain on, not cleaned underneath, hob was full of dust. Chairs for outside could have been comfier as with a view like that you spend a lot of time out there. That said it’s a beautiful apartment. Good job the windows block out a lot of the noise from the nightclub which does make the property hot at night.

Secure parking was a real bonus. Great location, we spent hours on the balcony watching the world go by. Already looking at coming back next year

beautiful place very clean and the view amazing only little grumble was no fans or air con and windows open slightly but the noise from the late pub and seagulls at 5am not much sleep to be had

The apartment was lovely, with stunning views, great safe parking and near to everything you need for a great holiday.

Fantastic modern apartment with the most stunning of views over Towan beach.

We opted for the twin room as it had the ensuite & could make a super king size and found the beds really comfortable. The owners had thought of everything and even left a welcome gift. Parking space behind property was very convenient. Really didn’t want to have to leave that stunning view behind.

We had a wonderful time staying at Onshore 6.

The apartment had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. The views from the balcony were fantastic. It was close to all the bars, cafes and restaurants and we didn’t need to use our car the whole week we were there. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

2nd time at this property and hopefully won't be the last.

Immaculate apartment in the best location, very central, and with views to die for. Easily one of the best places we've stayed in Newquay. Having a secure car parking space for the week is an added bonus.

An amazing property that was modern and clean.

The location was fantastic and the views were great. We had the best stay and will definitely be returning.

The only negative was trying to find the key box!

Directions really need to be updated on the website to avoid calling the housekeeper, we are not the first… Other than that the apartment was perfect, so clean, perfect location and very comfortable. The four of us, including two hard to please teens, loved our stay, thank you!

What an absolutely fabulous apartment.

We loved our stay at Onshore 6 and are so glad we have booked for next May also. The location could not be beaten and the view was stunning, lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the waves. Fabulous kitchen, spacious for the 4 of us and 2 bathrooms, a desk space and utility were all an added bonus. A very well equipped, gorgeous apartment and we can't wait to come back. Thank you for the lovely touches of prosecco, biscuits and milk too. Much appreciated.

The property is in a very good location, we knew this beforehand as stayed in another property in this block earlier in the year.

However, there were a couple of niggles with this one: would have prefer curtains at the full length window/door, even though it is 2nd floor people can still see in. There is only a 'Quooker' hot water tap. I personally do not like these and would have preferred an option of a kettle, which I ended up going and buying. The double bed mattress could do with being replaced as it slopes to the edges. The plastic 'dining chairs' did not suit the property. The same chairs were on the balcony. Having used Sykes numerous times I was disappointed this time that having contacted them twice regarding the property, the day before and the day of our stay (as we travelled down), as the contact numbers we were given for queries were not answered, that we did not get any call backs with answers.

Die zentrale Lage der Wohnung ist ideal für eine Anreise per Flugzeug ohne Auto. Denise als Kontakt ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Vielen Dank auch an die Hilfestellung aus Deutschland, als wir an der falschen Schlüsselbox gesucht haben. Der Cream Tea zur Begrüßung war sehr lecker, und über die Überraschung nach der ersten Woche haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Fazit: Wir hatten wunderbare 2 Wochen Urlaub im Apartment Onshore 6.

We absolutely loved our stay here.

Perfectly placed with everything within walking distance. We only used our car once during the whole week. View is amazing and everything you could ever need for a home away from home. The king size bed was so comfy, one of the most comfiest we've ever stayed in. Denise the housekeeper was a real diamond, apartment was clean and tidy and she messaged us when the property was ready so we didn't have to wait until the actual check-in time and when I left a pair of earrings on our departure day she posted them to me on the same day. We will definitely be back.

! I looked at booking for next year only to find the price had risen by nearly £600 from this year & found this very disappointing.i understand prices rise each year but thought this was a big jump in price .

Great apartment and the views over beach.

Wow. Access to the parking to rear of apartments wasn’t great due to neighbouring properties parking near the parking entrance and the spaces / turning area was tight if you drive a SUV or a large car. Otherwise great little spot to explore Cornwall or learn to surf.

Everything as described. Perfect view over Towan Beach. All mod cons. The cream tea on arrival was a lovely surprise too. Many thanks again to Denise for being available to us for any questions. It really helped to have a friendly personal contact. Looking forward to coming back again one day soon!

The apartment was spotlessly clean and felt very Covid safe .

There were anti viral cleaning materials left for us to use. The complementary cream tea was an unexpected and delicious surprise, Denise the contact was extremely helpful when we arrived and couldn't find the keys (I was in the wrong shed) the apartment was as good as it looked in the online brochure, I would defently stay there again

The property was in a perfect location for us to enjoy our break away.

Denise who was looking after the property met us away from the property and took us to it ,which was very helpful as we were unable to find the property.The property was immaculate and everything was very good quality.

The pictures don't do this place justice.

It has everything there that you would have a home. The views are amazing, the town is a stone's throw away. The one thing i would say is it took us some time to find. But apart from that i would highly recommend. Even to the point i booked a week there, whilst i was on holiday there lol. Denise the keeper/cleaner is only on the end of the phone, should any problems arise, and she is very helpful too. I'd say it was well worth the 6 hour drive it took me.

The views over Towan Beach are wonderful. The secure parking is a real bonus! **The housekeeper Denise deserves a special mention. The boiler stopped working late evening so no hot water. We messaged her at 10pm and next morning she arranged to be round before 8am to sort the problem and ensure we had hot water to start the day. Thank you again to our star plumber! What stopped it being a 5* holiday? The bed in the main bedroom is described as a king size ( made up of twin beds connected) The bed are small singles giving the width of a king size but only standard length reduced by a thick wall mounted headboard and as someone 6’3” tall this meant an uncomfortable sleep with dangling feet. We knew it was height of the season and expected some noise but the apartment is within 100 metres of two bars/pubs playing loud music to 2am or later and the associated noise from revellers thereafter. We tried earplugs but had to close all windows to keep noise out leading to uncomfortable/ difficult sleeping conditions.

This property exceeded our expectations.

. The photos of the apartment & views are beautiful, but everything was even more beautiful when we actually arrived . The weather was up & down, but with such an amazing apartment,& view, it didn't matter. Gin & Prosecco on the balcony when we came home each evening,
