Manor Cottage is a charming, detached barn conversion on a farm in Gweek near Helston, Cornwall.

Manor Cottage, with its rural views and ground-floor living, is an excellent choice for a family of four looking to explore the Lizard Peninsula.

Leave your car in one of the two off-road spots when you arrive and take in the wonderful countryside vistas.

Make your way inside the property and grab a seat in the sitting room, which has plenty of seating for the whole family in front of the Freeview TV; ideal for those evenings after a day packed with coastal walks.

Nearby you will find the kitchen/diner, a pleasant space with ample appliances for the budding chef prepare delectable meals with, as well as a handy washing machine.

The breakfast bar makes for a great spot to enjoy a quick snack, whilst the dining table is where you can get together with your group and tuck into a sumptuous meal.

The family bathroom is close by, and it has both a bath and a walk-in shower for you to use.

After a hard day, relax in one of the two attractively decorated bedrooms, which include a king-size and twin.

Helston, a picture-postcard town with the fascinating Museum of Cornish Life and Flambard's Theme Park, a great attraction for kids of all ages, also isn't far; the town additionally has some delightful walks for you and your canine companion to embark on, including Penrose walk and trails throughout Coronation Park.

Be sure to visit Porthleven, with its historic harbour, extensive sands, ample restaurants and the impressive manor of Penrose on offer.

Why not explore the South Western Coastal Path to see the many beautiful coves that surround the peninsula, along with more of its wonderful settlements, including the lively town of Falmouth.
