Janet “Such a beautiful place to stay.”
Views are perfect and so peaceful. Park right outside and the property is spotless with added extras like tea, coffee and sugar. Close to local supermarkets and 20 mins to Newquay beach and town. Lovely to see history of the property with photos showing how it all started. Yes we will be going back for sure. Thankyou Mr and Mrs Farmer

Diane “First time staying here and it didn’t disappoint.”
Absolutely everything you could need for a quiet comfortable stay. Clean, spacious and welcoming. Just familiarise yourself with the access roads to Tekenbret, a sat nav isn’t always your best friend as it sends you down some very narrow lanes.

Frank “Lovely country side cottage.”
Beautyfull view in the garden. Comfortable beds and two bathroom. Quiet in the nature.
- Frank, July 2024 -
Shaun “No gulls screaming at the top of their voices at 5 in the morning, lovely.”
Facilities were so much more than we expected. Basically we had wonderful holiday, would definitely stay there again. Thank you Anne.

Suzan “The cottage was very well equipped and had everything needed.”
The owner also provided what we needed for our children which was very appreciated and was very responsive. The main downside was the absence of curtains and the blinds did not block any light so it took our baby and toddler longer to fall asleep and triggered very early wake ups. The EV charger was also temperamental at times. Overall we had a very pleasant stay.
- Suzan, June 2024 -
Jill “Lovely property, thoughtfully laid out and very quiet.”
In mid-June, though, flimsy blinds which do not block out the sunlight made sleeping rather difficult. A larger fridge and freezer would also make catering for a family of 5 easier. Great views and outdoor space.

Karen “Wheal Hart was a beautiful cottage.”
It was very comfortable and incredibly clean. We were met by the owner on our arrival which was a great personal touch. The location was beautiful. Remote but easy access to main roads. All three of our girls were able to share a room which they loved. The cottage had everything we needed. If we come to Cornwall again would definitely look at booking Wheal Hart.
- Karen, May 2024Thank you! Very glad you had a good time. Property Owner

Richard “Peaceful location but with a lot of Cornwall’s must do places within an hour’s drive.”
The property itself is an excellent base with everything required for a comfortable and enjoyable holiday. The utilities and equipment made it a home from home. The owners were welcoming on our first day and change of towels for the second week was great. The shared garden is huge and has private areas outside the property which give a secluded feel. Definitely will be on our list of properties to return to should we come back to Cornwall in future years.
- Richard, July 2023 -

- Julie, June 2021 -
Michael “Wonderful stay.”
Cottage was very large and well laid out. View spectacular. Nice and quiet apart from neighbours who felt slamming car doors at 11pm / 11:30pm was acceptable. The only criticism / suggestion I could make is some of the paintwork could be refreshed and the Jacuzzi bath could do with descaling as a lot of limescale shot out on first use.
- Michael, May 2021 -
Sally-anne “The setting is superb, the couple are very helpful.”
Will be coming back.
- Sally-anne, May 2021 -

- Sarah, May 2021 -
Anthony “The cottage was lovely, we had 3 people in wheelchairs and no problems, our daughter was in the 3 bed room with us and she can do nothing for herself the fact that we couldn’t get her wheelchair into the bathroom wasn’t a problem, our son and daughter in law had the main bedroom and had no problems with the bathroom and double shower.”
The kitchen and living area was great tv on the wall and everything that we needed, the owners were on the end of the phone if we needed them and were very friendly, We had a lovely holiday and would definitely stay again if we come to Cornwall. Thankyou
- Anthony, September 2020 -

Everything you need and more for a family holiday. Loved the private enclosed rear garden which allowed the children access to friends and family who were also staying adjacent to us without worry. Quiet. Beautiful. Ideally located for all amenities and exploring. The owners were on hand if needed. Put simply we loved it and cannot wait to come back again.

Pamela “Our cottage Wheel Hart located at St Newlyn East was just perfect the location was peaceful with lovely country views but within five minutes drive of the main road to Newquay.”
The ventral position in Cornwall made it easy to explore both the south and north. The cottage itself was both clean comfy and warm; the owners who were very friendly and helpful but not intrusive had provided everything you needed in the cottage even a pair of binoculars to take advantage of the nature on your door. We had a lovely holiday and will be returning again next year.

Emma “I would recommend this property to anyone.”
I cannot explain to people how perfect the cottage was.The property was extremely clean and well furnished. The kitchen was just amazing, It had everything you could wish for and more.It was the little things that made the differences.BBQ charcoal was there, along with lighter fluid and matches (all separate), a bottle of wine waiting for us as soon as we pulled up.The owner came over and introduced himself. He shown us where everything was, how everything worked and then got a map out and recommended places. We had an issue with the fridge breaking which the owner resolved in minutes. This cottage is perfect.
