We arrived a day later than planned and made the owner aware of this. The owner had actually called to say the property was ready early if we would like to arrive early. Upon arrival after a long day of travelling, We found the property to be absolutely filthy and not just dirty and in need of a bit of a clean, it needs deep cleaning. We have taken 90 pictures and we probably could have taken more. The toilets had urine stains all over and black hairs. Every skirting was thick with dirt, the bathroom floors were dirty and even had a lump of ear wax on. The kitchen was dirty, the microwave had grease all over the front and handprints. The fridge had thick drops of food and old Chinese food left in lumps in the shelves. The beds had black hairs in. The floors in the dining area and kitchen had good spilt and crumbs everywhere. I could go on, it was absolutely disgusting. We contacted Sykes and the owner and they offered a clean, we explained it was now dark and we couldn’t go and hang around anywhere as it needed more than a quick clean. It needed at least a full day it’s that bad. They asked for pictures and we sent these. We were so tired and disappointed we left and tried to find alternative accommodation. We explained that the journey was a lot for me as I’m awaiting spinal surgery and upon arrival I needed rest. We shouldn’t have to go out in the cold and dark to await a deep clean. The owner was dismissive and said it needed a bit more of a shine. If I could add pictures here nobody would ever book this accommodation I’m sure. Over £1000 for absolute filth, We are so disappointed. Sykes have put all the responsibility on the owner. She has offered a charitable donation of £250 to a charity of our choice, We have proceeded to small claims court due to them breaking the agreement. Why should anyone have to go and hang around awaiting a further clean, We pay enough for these places, they should be good on arrival.

Karen “We loved Seascape.”
It’s a perfect location - just a few steps from the gorgeous beach, beach cafe, bus stop, coastal walks and a supermarket. Wonderful for watching the world go by from the huge balcony. It is probably the best equipped apartment we have ever rented with so many thoughtful touches. Great to have secure parking too. When we next visit Falmouth, we would definitely want to stay here again.
- Karen, October 2025Thank you for your fabulous review! it wonderful to hear how much you enjoyed your stay at Seascape, we hope you'll visit us again, Best wishes, Sally Property Owner
Terry “This was our third visit and in fact we were the first visitors in June 2021, unfortunately we were extremely disappointed in the how unclean the apartment was on our arrival.”
There is a 6 hour window between guest leaving and new ones arriving which should have been plenty of time for it to be clean to a standard that is acceptable, it looked as though it had been given a 30minute flashover. Dirty work surfaces, crumbs all over kitchen floor, toilet brush in the ensuite with poo on it, toilet brush holder in the other loo with pee looking water in the bottom, shower windows looked as if they had been wiped with a dirty rag, both leather 2 piece suites had dirty speckles on the arms and the cushions were full of hairs and other things also if you lift the seat cushions dust and hairs everywhere, old thick dust along the skirting boards at the side of the beds, we moved the balcony furniture and found decomposing food underneath and a couple of the cushions in the boxes were filthy. I could go on. The property owners need to have a serious look at the people who carry out there cleaning/maintenance, they are not doing there job and letting down this once wonderful apartment. Due to the above unfortunately we will not be returning again, such a shame.
- Terry, September 2025We are so sorry to hear your most recent stay was not your usual experience with us at Seascape. Thank you for letting us know - we would of dealt with this issue immediately if you had contacted u, as you will know from past visits this is not our usual standard and we will be investigating the issues you have reported. I do hope you will visit us again in the future and can only apologise for this particular experience that we have fell short of our usual standards. Best wishes, Sally Property Owner
Justin “This apartment is beautiful with spectacular views.”
We spent a lot of time on the spacious balcony, with very comfortable furniture and use of blankets if there's a chill. We had no issues with noise. Internally furnished and decorated to a high standard. Location great with a Co-op on ground floor and beach, restaurant/cafe/bar and takeaway across the road. We would definitely want to return. Thanks to the owners for tea, coffee, milk and a couple of special treats !
- Justin, September 2025Its our absolute pleasure to hear you enjoyed your stay with us at Seascape. It's great to know you found all the useful facilities nearby and we look forward to welcoming you again, best wishes, Sally Property Owner
Shaun “Beautiful apartment with a beautiful view.”
The beach is over the road and the town is a short stroll away. Couldn’t ask for anything more.
- Shaun, July 2025Thank you so much for your fabulous feedback, we are delighted you enjoyed your stay at Seascape & hope you will come and stay with us again! Property Owner
Sandra “Great place, we had lovely holiday at Seascape no issues at all with apartment.”
Out side when on brilliant balcony, Bagel van opposite had generator running all day, bit annoying. Evenings had youths riding very fast e bikes around the lovely park & up and down the road etc generally causing nuisance and dangerous. But had great Holiday!!
- Sandra, June 2025So pleased you had a great holiday we hope you’ll visit us again Property Owner
Rachel “Having stayed here before, we have just spent 5 weeks (with a week in between) in this lovely holiday apartment.”
It feels like home from home. It has the best equipped kitchen that we have ever stayed in, comfy beds, and what can you say about the view from the balcony other than stunning. I spent many early mornings relaxing on the double egg chair watching the world go by. It is very well placed with just a hop, skip and a jump to the beach, stunning coastal walks to Swanpool (and further on to Maenporth, if you’re up for it!) and a leisurely walk to Pendennis point to catch the breathtaking views, and all from your doorstep. With Falmouth town centre only a 10 min walk away what could be better. (On the odd occasion, there was some noise in the evening from Queen Mary Gardens, opposite from youths having fun, but no more than you would expect being so close to the beach and this did not ruin our evenings relaxing on the balcony.) Thank you for sharing your lovely apartment, we will definitely be back x
- Rachel, May 2025We are delighted you have enjoyed your 5 weeks of stay at Seascape! We thank you for such a fantastic review, it really does mean so much to us that you love it here! We look forward to welcoming you again in the future. Very best wishes, Sally Property Owner
Chris “A very pleasant stay in this modern apartment.”
There were just a few niggles that we came across, these being, the split in the king size bed (two singles) the settees were not very comfy and kept sliding on them and the tv which tho’ its a good quality smart tv it would definitely benefit from a free view package so ‘normal’ channels can be accessed. That said the outstanding feature of the property is the superb balcony among its many plus points!
- Chris, May 2025Thank you for your feedback we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Seascape. Best wishes Property Owner
Helen “Fabulous apartment in a fabulous place.”
- Helen, June 2024Chris “Absolutely faultless.”
Beautiful apartment, very clean and exactly as discribed. Loved it!
- Chris, April 2024Thank you so much for your fantastic review, we are delighted you enjoyed staying at seascape and hope you’ll visit us again soon.best wishes Property Owner
Steven “Great property in an excellent location.”
We could not get the extractor fans to work in either bathroom, so as there are no windows, it became very steamed up and damp. I noted the vent axia was turned off at the power socket in the utility cupboard, so assume there is a problem.
- Steven, October 2023Thank you for your review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Seascape. It’s a ventaxia clean air system throughout all rooms so no extractors in the bathrooms. I’m not sure why it had been switched off ? Its working correctly and it just needed switching it back on, I wish you’d of called if you thought somethings not working as it should, this would have been a simple fix for your stay, thank you for pointing this out - I’ve popped a notice asking for the switch be left on at all times. Best wishes, Seascape Property Owner
Katherine “What a fabulous find.”
We all absolutely loved our stay at apartment number 29 The Liner. From the moment we entered the private carpark at the centre of the apartment building with our own space to walking into the apartment it felt like we were on holiday. The apartment is sparkling clean and has everything you want for a holiday. fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, ice machine, dish washer and every cooking utensil you would need, if cooking is what you fancy doing. The balcony runs the full length of the apartment with views of the beach, sea and beautiful landscaped gardens. There’s a lovely accessible path that runs all the way round to the next cove. The beach café opposite serves tasty freshly cooked meals and has a bakery next to it for daily fresh bread and cakes. The walk into the town centre is an easy 20 minutes. So here’s for the one tiny negative and it is tiny, the noise from the diesel engine running the small pizza and coffee horse box that turns up every morning just opposite the apartment building. The apartment patio doors are fantastic for blocking out the noise of the outside but my sensitive hearing could hear the diesel engine every morning waking up. But that’s it. That’s my one negative. Thankyou apartment 29 for a much needed week away. We hope to be back soon.
- Katherine, August 2023Thank you so much for your thoughtful and lovely feedback. We so happy to hear how much you enjoyed your stay at Seascape and hope you’ll stay with us again. Property Owner
Karen “This apartment was brilliant.”
The highlight has to be the large balcony, with great furniture and wonderful view. We spent more time here than anywhere - even when it rains, as very little rain comes onto the balcony itself. Everything inside the apartment was as described and felt good quality and plentiful. It's position right in front of Gyllingvase beach is fab, as it takes seconds to walk there, and there's even a shower in the car park to wash off sandy feet etc. It's a struggle to think of anything negative, I suppose the only thing is that the small park opposite (which is beautiful) can be a bit of a hang-out place for slightly noisy youths in the early evening, but you're going to get that in most seaside towns, and they weren't there late, and the windows in the property were great at cutting out any noise if needed - although we actually slept with the window open every night and got a great night's sleep every night. I really would not hesitate to recommend this apartment - we are already looking to see when we can go back!
- Karen, July 2023Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay at seascape and hope you’ll stay with again soon Property Owner
David “Very nice apartment and very well equipped.”
Excellent position overlooking the sea with a fantastic balcony! Only two negatives were the fact that it was extremely dusty and gave us the impression it had not been occupied for a while and the settees are very uncomfortable and difficult to sit on, because you keep sliding forward on them!
- David, April 2023Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback so please you enjoyed the apartment. Property Owner
Nicholas “A really lovely stay in a beautifully maintained apartment.”
- Nicholas, February 2023Thank you for returning to us at Seascape, we really appreciate your lovely review. Property Owner

Jane “We had a wonderful week in Seascape.”
The apartment is very well located for the beach, the town and lovely walks. The apartment itself is very well appointed inside and out. The only slight downside is the level of noise late at night during the weekends. Obviously this is beyond the control of Sykes but it is something we would consider when booking a return visit.
- Jane, July 2022Thank you for your lovely review of Seascape we are happy to hear you enjoyed the apartment. It’s location is Falmouth town beachfront and is enjoyed by many people. Property Owner
Paul “Seascape is a fantastic apartment in a great location.”
It is a great base for exploring in and around Falmouth, with things to do and places to eat within easy reach by foot. There is also plenty to explore in this area of Cornwall either by ferry or car.
- Paul, June 2022Thank you for your review we are very happy you enjoyed your stay at Seascape and hope you will visit us again in the future. Property Owner
Ian “Lovely apartment in a good location.”
No complaints at all. I had rung Sykes prior to our arrival to find out if the apartment had a washer dryer. Told it only had a washing machine. Very pleased to find on arrival that it was I fact a washer - dryer.
- Ian, May 2022Thank you for bringing this to our attention, this has now been added to the listing. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Seascape. Property Owner
Paul “A lovely, recently built apartment in an excellent location overlooking gardens and the beach and within easy walking distance of the town centre.”
The welcoming touches from the owner were an added bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Seascape and would certainly book to stay there again if our travels take us back to Falmouth. Paul.
- Paul, May 2022Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Seascape, its great to hear you have enjoyed your stay, we do hope you will visit us again! Property Owner
Deirdre “Fantastic property, facilities and location - perfect.”
- Deirdre, March 2022Thank you for your review, we are delighted you enjoyed Seascape and its fantastic location Property Owner
Michael “Really great stay in an exceptionally clean and well positioned apartment”

Mike “This is a classy, comfortable and impeccably clean apartment with all the amenities you could wish for.”
Located right across the road from the beach and with easy access to some great coastal walks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you Sally for a lovely week - the weather wasn't great but at least we had a welcoming apartment to return to after our long walks around the town and coastline.
- Mike, February 2022Thank you for your review, I’m so pleased you enjoyed your stay at Seascape and time exploring Falmouth. Property Owner
Nicholas “A really nice property in a lovely quiet location (or at least it was very quiet in January)”
- Nicholas, January 2022Richard “The property was in excellent condition and just as described.”
Very enjoyable holiday break in Falmouth.
- Richard, October 2021Malcolm “The apartment was exceptional - every utensil and facility available - wonderful views from the marvelous balcony of the adjacent gardens and along the sandy seafront.”
Would not recommend the seafront restaurant (Gilly's) not very comfortable seats, restricted menu and definitely overpriced - even had the audacity to include a 15% service charge But overall liked the location very much and would like to return some time
- Malcolm, September 2021Louise “Location of the apartment was perfect , amazing views from the balcony of the beach and beautiful gardens.”
The apartment it’s self had everything we needed and more.
- Louise, August 2021Alison “The apartment has everything that you could possibly need and the decor and fittings are beautiful (nice to see local retailers pieces), it is very well positioned for both the beach and town and the views are fantastic.”
You realise watching many try and find parking in Falmouth and surrounding towns that having a private secure space is invaluable. Our only negative was only having a fan in the master, the kids room would really benefit from one.
- Alison, August 2021B “Some building work still happening in the complex but it didn’t disturb us.”
Apartment is ideally located for the beach and has all the facilities if you want to dine in. Beds comfy and balcony great if you’re lucky enough to get afternoon sunshine
- B, July 2021Valerie “The little touches such as wine in the wine cooler & fresh milk in the fridge, tea, coffee & biscuits, to name but a few, were very much appreciated & totally unexpected.”
