The property

Wood Meadow, a superb four-bedroom New England-style property in Cornwall, sits high above the settlement of Helford.

Located on two acres of land with views of the garden and the Helford River, Wood Meadow is the ideal home for a large family of 10 wishing to visit Cornwall for the first time.

The interior of the home has been created to a high standard with contemporary furniture and architecture.

Prepare to be met by one of two huge balconies with furniture dining table, the ideal area for enjoying your morning coffee.

Be welcomed into the large lobby where you will find a convenient laundry cupboard complete with washing machine and dryer, along with a separate cloakroom for quick freshen-ups!

Your groups chef will not be disappointed with the gorgeous kitchen/dining area with vaulted apex ceilings, along with everything they could need to whip up delectable feasts, including a dishwasher making cleaning up a breeze!

Relax and enjoy a delicious meal with a glass of wine at the dining room table, or if the weather permits, dine alfresco on the balcony where you can soak up the amazing views on offer.

After a long day of sightseeing, you can choose between the sitting room with a crackling wood-burning stove and TV, or the snug below the house, which has a TV and games to relax in, all with plush seating.

Additionally, the property features a study area complete with desk space and a collection of books and board games.

Each of the property’s well-appointed four bedrooms features its own en-suite bathroom, as well as plenty of storage space for your personal items.

Awake from a leisurely slumber and get ready for the day before exploring the grounds, which include seating areas and a tree house.

Find a well-stocked convenience store in the village, where you can stock up on supplies to recreate your favourite holiday foods at home, as well as the welcome Shipwright Arms pub and the Holy Mackerel Café, where you can treat your guests to a tasty meal and time off from the kitchen, just a few minutes walk away!

Boshahan Cove is just a short walk away along a coastal path and offers a beautiful, shingled beach, where you may paddle the coastlines and take in the beautiful views of the Helford River while relaxing on the beach.

A short ferry trip away from Trebah and Helford Passage, as well as the National Trust Glendurgan and Trebah Gardens and easy access to the South West Coast Path, can be found in Helford Passage, a neighbouring village to Trebah.

Head over to Helston and visit the Museum of Cornish Life, Flambards Theme Park, or the neighbouring Cornish Seal Sanctuary to learn about the local fauna.

Kynance Cove and Loe Bar are among the nicest sandy beaches on the Lizard Heritage Coast, where you may relax on the sand, make sandcastles with your children, or paddle in the crystal blue waters of the Lizard.

The National Trust East Pool Mine, Moseley Heritage Museum, and Kresen Kernow are all located near Redruth, which is a treasure trove for history buffs.

With a stay at Wood Meadow, you'll be able to enjoy a luxurious vacation in Cornwall.
