    “What a beautiful place to stay in!”

    The property was lovely and clean, well set out and contained everything we needed and more. Marisa, who owns it, couldn’t have been more helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here if you want to be out and about in Helston and it’s surrounding areas.

The Crest is a wonderful detached, white stone house situated in the bustling town of Helston, Cornwall.

Inside, the property has been renovated into a stylish and contemporary holiday home for friends and families looking to escape to the Cornish countryside.

You will be treated to a large dining area and a well-equipped kitchen, so you can rustle up a delicious evening meal and gather at the table with a sparkling glass of wine.

The first floor offers a spacious open-plan sitting room with a kitchenette, so you don't have to venture downstairs for a cup of tea!

Look forward to relaxing and unwinding into the evening catching up with your favourite shows or enjoying some quality family time together.

Step through the patio doors out to the spacious patio area, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink and watch the sunset.

Retire to one of the two well-presented bedrooms for some much needed rest for the days ahead.

A family favourite is the wonderful tidal island of St Michael's Mount, famous for its jaw-dropping coastal views and sub-tropical gardens that are a must-see.

Visit the wonderful seaside towns of Porthleven, Marazion and Penzance for a range of family-friendly attractions and an array of beautiful golden beaches, perfect for spending your afternoons sunbathing, swimming or even trying your hand at Cornwall's favourite sport of surfing.

The Loe is a nearby 50-hectare lake and is ideal for all manner of watersport opportunities including fishing, kayaking and even sailing.

Flambards Theme Park is within reach and is perfect for those who want to enjoy thrill-seeking roller coaster rides.

Porthleven 3 miles; Falmouth 12 miles; Penzance 14 miles.

Helston lies at the western gateway to the Lizard Peninsula, a large area of downland fringed by a beautiful and spectacular coastline. Helston is a pleasant busy market town famous for it's Flora Day Festival and the many stories and legends about the "Furry Dance" are told in the fascinating Helston Folk Museum. Nestled in a tranquil setting is the National Seal Sanctuary on the Helford River, where there is plenty of entertainment watching seals play and feed. If it is thrill rides that excites you, then Flambards theme park will keep you amused all day and also has excellent living history experiences. Further afield is the harbour town of Falmouth to the east and Land's End to the west. Helston is a wonderful holiday destination offering plenty of attractions for the whole family. By car reach numerous outstanding beaches, including Porthleven Beach, Praa Sands Beach, and Gunwalloe Church Cove Beach, with Loe Bar offering a dog-friendly landscape, along with the chance to join the stunning Cornish coastal path.
